Junya glanced around and saw nothing except a thicket of trees surrounding him. His despair drowned out his painful thoughts just to prevent his rage from growing.

He suppressed all emotion, pressing them down, tight and compact, by using the single drive inside his body. To kill.

The canopy was filled with an abundance of the flora of various colours, but it all glossed past Junya's weary eyes. Everything looked disinteresting to him unless he was able to kill it.

He had been trekking for a few days. The feeling of time passing was beyond his knowledge. Only recognizing it as another day without being able to kill anything.

If someone saw him, they would imagine that he was a humanoid Mob of sorts. His light-coloured hair fell over his eyes giving them a hollowed look. His dull eyes seemed cold and detached with their visible silver iris. Sweat made his hair stick to his face, dirtying his skin.

If anything, Junya looked like a rogue.

He could only see things in two ways, killable and unkillable.

His breathing remained at a moderate pace, his body falling into rhythm with his footstep that crunched upon the leaf litter. Swaying slightly, Junya continued his journey onward.

He reached an overpass and in front lay the dilapidated cars and buildings Junya had long fantasized about owning. Yet, years of damage and neglect gave them a run-down look. Vines crept up walls and into buildings, and glass and rubble scattered the ground.

The scene drew no interest from him. Its colours and shapes bore him, With hardly a glance Junya passed by.

He walked along abandoned cracked roads, the surrounding silence that hadn't seen a human in years echoed loud in his ears. These were the only places that Mobsters were able to see which were usually dangerous places that Mobs frequented.

Junya reached a slight gully during his dazed wondering. A sudden noise drew his attention and he hesitated.

"What should we bring back to the colony"

His eyes flared up with a dangerous glint and he glanced toward the direction of the noise. A distance away he spotted a pixie, gathering small bundles of fruit from trees into her petite hands.

They were short, reaching only 14 centimetres tall. It moved through the air, feverously grasping fruits, leaving small glittery trails behind it.

'Kill'

That was Junya's only thought.

Junya gripped his sword in his hand, finally, something he could kill. He rushed through the gully with complete focus and intention toward the pixie.

Soft mud lined the forest floor, masking his ever-approaching footsteps. He swung wide, the blade glinting in the light, aiming directly for its neck.

Clang!

A loud noise rang out, echoing through the trees, and the pixie collapsed to the ground. Its neck had a bright red abrasion bleeding under its asking.

"What the fuck, Jiki! What happened." Another pixie fluttered hurridly from around the tree and peered toward the pixie crumpled on the ground.

The female pixie quickly glanced toward a sword that was flying directly toward her.

"Earthling scum!" The pixie cursed and threw a punch toward the sword. The two forces cancelled out and Junya, thinking quickly, threw out more. The Pixi was small and easily dodged the attacks.

"Die!"

A might punch slammed into Junya's back sending him barreling through trees.

"Jiki are you alright?" The female Pixi asked dashing to the side of the injured pixies.

"Yes Jaka, that little bastard only caught me off guard" The male Pixi rubbed the back of its head. It wore an irritated expression due to the newly earnt injured.

"It doesn't seem to be a strong one, what is it doing out here?" The female Pixi wondered.

"I don't know but we can use it as a corpse to make a connection with another Race" Jiki smiled looking at the Junya who weakly tried to get off the ground from afar.

Jaka nodded too, but her brows then scrunched, "Jiki! What if it's a trap? What if there are stronger earthlings around us waiting to ambush us"

"No, surely they would have already come out" Jiki spat. "Let's kill him"

The pixies rushed toward Junya who barely had gotten up to his feet. Junya swung his sword at one of them, but they simply dodged his meek attempt.

Both of them flicked a clump of dust in Junya's eyes.

The sensation they caused felt like his eyes were ablaze. The searing pain left him unable to talk. Suddenly, rapid fiery punches started filling his body. Despite the pixies typically being weak among other mobs, they soon overpowered Junyas simple defences.

The pixies continued jumping into his chest, forcing it to cave in to his organs. Junya heaved a mouthful of blood before his vision went hazy.

As his body grew weaker, blood clots formed in his airways preventing his desperate cries. His strength drained away alongside the light in his eyes. The rhythmic thumping from the pixies resonated throughout his broken body.

[Is it power that you seek]

The words sounded through the rhythmic thumping in his body clearly as if it was his own thoughts.

[Do you wish to Accept my blessing? you have a heart in which I can flourish]

The Unknown voice continued to speak to Junya.

[My time is short. I can see the hatred in your heart and your desire to kill. I will impart upon you my blessing as my final will. May your heart be the soil in which my power grows. Use it whichever way your heart bids]

Junya felt as though he has died, but a sudden bright light fell onto his broken, bloodied body.

The light swirled around him, its blood-red colour contrasting heavily with the pure white glow it emitted, like yin and yang. It washed over his figure healing his injuries and giving his silhouette a scary contour.

The terrifying form grew with Junya's tremendous desire, fueling his gruesome silhouette. Desperate to forge his own path, his own journey, his own life, the sole thought of obliterating all his foes became igniting gasoline to the flame that was his anger.

The remaining lingering light morphed into a blinding red membrane surrounding Junya's body. The light around his head appeared after which, a pure white halo coalesced over his head, creating a shield with its dazzling radiance, protecting his blood-red figure.

His eyes opened with a dangerous glint beaming with pure white light. His maw turned upward mimicking a grin, while the rest of his body took on the form of something deathly frightening, with dangling long talons like claws.

His skin pulled over his opened wounds while his bones reconstructed themselves, in a grotesque manner, and a chilling sound. His body turned into an aberration, resembling something from a nightmare, except it was real.

He took the appearance of an Apex predator.

This form stood tall with a slight hunch, its frame rose slowly as it expelled cold air with every breath.

His desire to kill hit a fever pitch that made it become a necessity, like a lion starved of meat.

To no surprise, the pixies stood mouth agape at the creature that now stood before them. Instinctively they felt a tremendous urge to beg for their pitiful lives and swear allegiance if it meant they never had to face such a calamity.

Bloodlust accompanied its presence which trapped them in their tracks.

Junya reached out with his long arms, in a swift motion and grasped the male pixie in his hand before she could even blink.

"Jaka!" The pixie screeched toward its female counterpart in fright. He reached toward her, however, it all seemed too late within seconds.

"J..iki" The female pixie's voice was strained from the crushing pressure of Junya's hand. Her eyes became red from excess blood and started leaking from all her tiny orifices.

Junya squeezed the pixie within his palm making it erupt into a small bloody explosion.

"Jaka!" The pixie wimpered, his eyes being unable to believe what he had just seen.

His slowly turned to look at Junya, whose eyes glowed with an unnaturally bright light. Jiki felt it hard to move, his body was desperately telling him to run away, but fear hindered him from doing so.

He soiled the minute his body lost control of its motor functions. He could feel the gruelling chill from the breath of the monster in front of him, paralysing his wings.

He tried using his elbows to inch his body away from death which seemed to wait to take him away.

"G, great, fairy queen, please deliver me from this predica…"

He choked on the end of his sentence and never managed to get another word out before his little body was crushed with untamed strength.

Blood dyed the ground red and left body fluids everywhere else. Inside Junya's mind, a sense of peace came following the death of the fairy and a rare smile broke out on its silhouette.

His progress went ignored and his hunger for blood continued to grow. he wanted to kill something bigger to satisfy his undying hunger for blood. Quickly dismissing the murders pixies.

His body eventually took the form of a half-angel and demon, which had budding horns in its ethereal figure and a haunting face that blazed with power.

Despite his death-inducing appearance, he had a halo over his head. With a push of his foot, his figure disappeared, only to appear a hundred meters away from where he once stood toward his next prey.
