The Gao family was so poor that they couldn't afford breakfast. Therefore, they got up early in the morning, cleaned themselves up, and got into the carriage. They went as far as they could.
They didn't have a chance to stop for lunch until noon.
At noon.
They were almost at the spot Little Phoenix had pointed out. Feng Wu held her stomach.
"What's wrong?" Seeing the change in Feng Wu's expression, Li asked in concern.
Feng Wu said, "It's nothing…"
Li said, "I can tell by the look on your face. Are you hungry?"
Feng Wu chuckled.
"Teehee." Li was amused. She realized that although the girl wasn't very pretty, she was very likable.
"Mingjiang." Lady Li came out of the carriage and whispered something in Gao Mingjiang's ear.
Their carriage led the way, and Gao Mingjiang nodded at his wife's words. "It's indeed almost noon. It's time to take a break."
He raised a red flag, and the carriages behind him stopped as well.
