Godlike: The Rise of a Skill-stealing Rune Master chasing revenge

Utterly mad and consumed by hatred, Sebastian attacked Erika Luttrell’s manor. As the woman incinerated him to ashes, Sebastian died with a crazed smile on his face, finding humor in his own death. But fate had a wild twist in store for Sebastian. Thanks to a trinket bequeathed by his dead father, the pyromancer gets sent back to the past, landing right in the middle of another shot at payback. There is only a tiny insignificant problem plaguing the man. Madness followed him, pushing him to take completely avoidable risks. The Shriekroot (3)

Kenway didn't stay idle. He charged forward with a roar.

His blade met the Shriekroot's bark-like skin, slicing through with difficulty, leaving shallow cuts that didn't damage the creature in the slightest.

However, a dark, viscous fluid was falling from the Vexvine's weird body. It came from the wounds Leo's stone arrows made.

The Quiver Lord wasn't staying idle. From a distance, he nocked his arrows with precise, calculated movements after having waited for the beast to put itself in a favorable position.

His attacks were the most effective; whenever an arrow flew, it found its mark with a thud, embedding deep within the Shriekroot's body and causing damage.

The creature recoiled with each hit, writhing in screams of agony, but soon after, the monster recuperated, and every time it did, its rage increased, followed by the speed and strength of its attack.
