Chapter - 5

Sunlight entered my room, bright rays were rare in these autumn days... Cold breeze wiggled near my ears and woke me up... I was scared to open my eyes today... who knows where would I be? Who would be sitting in front of me?

My daily routine was destroyed due to these past present stories... I suddenly remembered about the blind date I was supposed to go last week, one of my colleagues had arranged for me... What am I even doing with my life nowadays... Messing up with Gods? If I reveal this secret to any normal human being, would they even believe this crap? Am I still dreaming or is this really happening with me? I pinched myself just to check if I am sleeping but... "it hurts!!!" I screamed with pain. So every weird thing happening around me was real....amazing...

Finally I opened my eyes and walked down the bed. Unlocked my mobile and saw that it was Sunday... Holiday.... At last I will get some time for myself, I didn't even wanted to think about those double A girlies today... did I just call ASTREA and ADRESTIA... double A?? Girlies?? Wow...

After taking nice hot water bath, I entered living room.

" No !!!! Not again !!! Why ?? Can't you leave me alone just for a day !!! It's my holiday, let me live peacefully... I beg you !!! " I was not even shocked at the sight of Astrea sitting on my sofa...

"Arisa..." She tried to speak. " And the most important thing!! Stop calling me Arisa... My name is Arin... My parents have named me Arin !!" It was so annoying hearing a different name over my real name.

" Okay calm down now!! Arin... listen carefully, I have found out another to take out your diamond core...." She stopped in middle of speaking something. " What did you find?'" I asked her. But she kept her index finger on her lips signaling me to stop talking... And raised her right hand towards the kitchen platform.

" Come on your highness!! You can't expose me like that!! I was trying to hear your sweet words sister!!" Adrestia appeared...sitting on top of the platform.

" Are you crazy??? How could you sit on my platform?? So unhygienic...." I ran towards her. "What's so unhygienic Arin?? I am a Goddess not any dirty human being!!" She laughed sarcastically.

" Stop blabbering around!! And get out of this house right now !! Don't call me sister ever again..." Astrea said in a very soft tone. " OHHH!! Are you embarrassed of me? But we both are from the same origin dear sister, You are my older , oving , caring , pure, innocent and the Almighty sister!!" Adrestia sat beside Astrea, while smirking very demonically. Astrea ignored her and called me out " Arin, you have a blind date right ?? Why don't you go for it today?"

" it was last week, and I don't even know that person... Wait, I have his number.... Should I call him?" I started searching for his number in my contact list.

" Why would she go on a date? She doesn't need a boyfriend...When she have me beside her..." Adrestia gave me a seductive gaze.

" Let her decide that dear sister, She's a human being with emotions in her heart. She has to find a perfect partner for herself. You come with me now, We need to have a meaningful conversation after so many years..." Astrea said sarcastically and dragged adrestia with her out of the door."

While sipping on Coffee , I texted him, about the blind date today. He texted back with an address where we would meet. It's been so long... I have not even dated someone for past 3-4 months. He was a native Korean. Hongseok.... Yang HongSeok....

I was walking beside the Han river park... Autumn winds were much stronger this year, even the hot packs became useless these days... I chose black dress and a caramel brown overcoat, light make up on face made my look perfect for this date. I wondered if he has already reached? Beside his name and number I had no other information about him...

BI CAFÉ

Why have I never visited here ever before? It's actually very close to my apartment...." The interior of the café was really inspired by the Rain [BI] , the whole concept was monsoon. This person seems to have a real unique taste. But where is he? I looked around inside the café... One of the waiter there asked me if I needed any help. "Yang Hongseok... he has reserved a table here... Actually I don't know the table number" I asked hesitantly. The waiter checked for the reservations and within few seconds gave me the table number. It was on the first floor. I went up and walked towards the window table... I found someone sitting there, as I went closer , he became more clear... He didn't seem native Korean, looked more exotic...

Not so fair but not very tanned skin, well-built torso, broad shoulders... he was wearing loose white t-shirt with Black denim jacket and ripped jeans...a very casual look but he made it special just by the way he was carrying it....

" Hongseok-ssi ??" I tried to speak in a very humble way He turned around me, " Arin-ssi? You're whole 10 minutes early !!" he teased me. I smiled a bit but in reality I was so much intimidated with his presence... he had a baby looking , innocent face... but his aura was so mature and manly. I sat down front of him. It was awkward even to start the conversation... Felt like I was getting blushed up which made me more nervous...

Is it your 1st time blind dating someone? I mean you look so tensed..." He asked.

Oh my gosh....even his was voice was so deep...

" No...actually I haven't dated in a long time... I was just so much busy making my career, I didn't find time to date.. Well then.. Let's do a proper introduction first...

" Hello, I am Miyawaki Arin , born and brought up at Osaka , Japan. I have completed my masters from France. Nice to meet you"

I greeted him while bowing down. He laughed a little, I felt like it was more of a sarcastic laugher.

" Hi !! I am Yang Hongseok. Born in Insadong , South Korea. I have spent total 11 years abroad... Los Angeles , California then at last Singapore... I have completed my masters from Singapore. Right now I am working as an Economics Professor at SNU. Also pursuing music education part time."

He introduced himself very politely. " Wow !! Your life is happening dude....that's the reason why you don't look native Korean. So cool..." I was highly impressed. We talked for an hour. He was really an interesting person, he had completely different view on life. I was so much immersed in the conversation that I almost forgot about double A in my life.... I forgot about them but how could they let me spend good time peacefully? While drinking Coffee I sensed a presence outside the window. I looked through the glass window and got stricken with shock...

Adrestia was sitting on a tree branch out there... Smirking at me...

I turned my face away, "Hongseok-ssi I need to leave now...I just got the text from the office.... " He was surprised with my sudden reaction, " You didn't even check your mobile... I guess your office has a telepathy network" He looked at me suspiciously. "I am so sorry we have to wrap up the date like this, I promise next time we'll spend more time together" I felt ridiculous to end the date so weirdly. "So we are meeting again? What should I figure out? Are we..." He seemed very confused.

"We will decide it next time... Now I am in a bit hurry... I'll call you tonight... See you later, bye!!!" I bowed to him and ran down.

I went out on the road , near that tree. Adrestia was still up there on the branch. " Min !!! Come down !!"I shouted. "Oh you are done with date? Already? I told you, boyfriends are boring..." She patted over my hair.

"Nonsense...Are you a goddess for sure? You seem more like a ghost, sitting on tree branches..."

I was tired of being around her...no... she was following me everywhere....

"Hey, Miss Goddess...Until when are you planning to follow me around?" We were walking in the Han river park. " Until your diamond soul is owned by me... Until you start worshipping me..." She stared in my eyes. "Stop staring at me, and worshipping you? You mean doing those dark magic shit? God damn I am a scientist, you think I'll ever do that?" She walked away few meters away from me, and turned back " So get ready to sacrifice yourself then... in any ways possible I want your diamond soul... I am not letting you go this time, and Don't worry I'll not kill you this early... I love you so much that I want to play around with you more Arin, And one more thing you need to stop with this dating thing... I want your soul pure and virgin!!"

Her eyes turned evil... I was taken a back with this gesture of hers... But soon I controlled myself.

"Adrestia!! How many times do I have to tell you? Arisa was under your temptation, Not me... You cannot grasp me into your bloody love trap... My soul and virginity, both are my properties... I'll do whatever I want to do with them, your opinion doesn't matter here Miss Goddess" I started walking, She kept standing there in shock... I didn't know when did I get brave enough to argue with Adrestia and shut her down, I guess she was the one who made me like this... I have learned that I need to get brave and stop getting scared of their supernatural powers... That's the only way I could save my soul...save Arin...
