Going To School (1)

(A/N: I will be talking about Levels in this chapter but it's not Armin's 'Level'. In unOrdinary people are scaled from 0-10 if I remember correctly, I will use the term 'Power Level' but this is not the same as Dragon Ball Power Level. For example, John has a Power Level of 7.0 before he was expelled from his last school. I think... blame Google!)

Within an average room, a person was slowly opening his eyes. This person was of course Armin as he began looking around the room he was in. It was very 'normal' in fact it seemed too normal, the room was spotless and had a large bed, a desk with a computer, dresser, closet, and a door to the bathroom.

Armin: 'Oh? Thank you for sending me into a home but the question is if I'm within someone else's house or is this my own? Better than appearing within a cell...'

As he suddenly got up, Armin walked around the room and examined everything but first, he went to the bathroom, and what he saw almost made him vomit up blood. Armin was currently looking at himself in the mirror.

Armin: 'What the fuck is this!?!'

[ The Host as been altered to an appropriate age, to leave this universe you must complete Highschool from this current point! How would you do that if you were an adult? ]

Armin: 'Well how fucking old am I?!'

[ 16 Years and 7 Months old! ]

Armin: '...'

Suddenly a knocking was coming from his bedroom door followed by a man's voice, the sudden noise and voice caused him to frown.

???: "Armin are you up? You're normally up and about around 15 minutes ago, you need to get ready for school.'

Armin: "In the bathroom..."

After speaking he started rubbing his head due to a small sudden pain.

Armin: 'Answer! NOW!'

[ That was your guardian, Blake Hill. He is was born on 11/13/1980 and is currently 39 years old, would you like to hear your back story? ]

Armin: 'Go for it...'

[ Both your parents have passed away soon after your birth, your 'Mother' died soon after giving birth while your 'father' died in a car accident on his way towards the hospital. Both of your parents were good friends with Blake and he decided to take you in as your own. Since then he has raised you as his own, he has no wife but he does have a girlfriend that visits often. The host is highly suggested to not 'dispose' of your guardian. Please note that none of this actually happened, in reality, the universe simply added 'memories' of you. You didn't exist until now but people will have memories of you. ]

Armin: 'Seriously? I'm not an insane person okay!?! I wouldn't just kill the man for no reason! I might not like him but I wouldn't kill him...'

Suddenly Armin feels to knees but caught himself on the counter, his head suddenly felt as if he was being torn open but was still able to hang on. Just as it suddenly appeared it then vanished as 'memories' appeared within his mind.

Armin: 'What sort of bullshit was that? I mean thanks but damn at least give me a warning!'

He then looked himself in the mirror and noticed he was already clean and had casual clothes on. When he walked out of the bathroom he instantly noticed the book bag that 'he' placed theirs. He also knew a couple of other things such as he was transferring to a new school today. The school in question was the very same school the story took place in, Wellston Private High School.

Armin: 'Well I'll be dammed... Hey system what is my Power Level in this universe? John should be a 7.0 but I think was during his middle school days... and for all I know it could reach a 9.0 or even 10...'

[ You're Power Level cant even be scaled... if it was me then probably... 30,000? Honestly, you're on vacation now, nothing in this universe will increase your strength as everyone and thing are too weak. Just enjoy it with your family which is currently watching you thanks to the System. ]

Armin: "I bet some of you are laughing due to this aren't you?"

[Message from Ethereal

"YEP! HAHA! Our hubby is going to school aww." ]

Armin: "I'm guessing you all are completely fine at home?"

He received another message telling him, yes and he could only sigh out. Armin then made his way out of his room with his book bag and noticed the moon who called out to him earlier. Blake has an above-average look with black hair, he was currently sitting down at the kitchen table, and when he saw Armin walk in he spoke.

Blake: "Look who finally came out, I made some breakfast. When you're done make sure to get to school and I already filled out all the paperwork for your enrollment. If you bring any female 'friends' just let me know haha."

Armin: "Why would I even tell you if I did..."

Blake: "Because you're cursed with handsomeness! I'm sure all the girls would want to get to know you and I need to know if you're gonna bring any home because I either need to cook food or get out of the house so you can enjoy 'time' together haha."

Armin just looked at his supposed adoptive father with a face that could clearly say 'are you stupid?' Armin then sat down and started eating, sadly the food was nowhere near as good as his or his wives cooking.

Blake: "What's that face for?! I tried okay!"

When he said this he had a fake crying face.

Armin: "I can cook better, need me to teach you old man?"

Blake: "IM NOT OLD! I am still in my prime!"

Armin just smiled as he realized that he hasn't really had a normal conversation with other people for a long, long time.

Armin: "Is there a school bus taking me to the school or do I need to walk?"

Blake: "Well it's only a ten-minute walk from here so just walk, also I got you a dorm room there."

Armin: "Why did you ask me if I would bring someone back here then..."

Blake: "Because it's not like I'm kicking you out stupid, feel free to come back home whenever you feel like it."

The duo continued to talk, Armin enjoyed speaking to his 'father' and could already tell he was a chill guy. Blake really did see Armin as his own son and enjoyed joking around with him. Soon Armin needed to head to school which caused him to curse this universe.

Armin: 'I can't believe I have to go to school... AGAIN! System I'd like to report a bug! This universe is clearly a high leveled one because I need to go to school!'

Sadly Armin was literally laughed at by both his wives and the System, the wives just watched as if this was a drama. Meanwhile, at Wellston Private High School, the Headmaster was look over the paperwork, and when he reached a paper showing a new student would be joining he raised an eyebrow.

The principal was looking at a paper with Armin's face one it but the paper was very strange. He ended up calling in a guidance counselor about it.

Vaughn: "What is wrong with this? Was there an error when receiving it?"

As the guidance counselor took the sheet of paper he noticed the strangeness of it. All that was written was his name and address while everything else was filled with question marks.

( Name: Armin Foll

Ability: ???

Level: ???

Notes: Armin has a very good mind and could also be labeled as a genius, however, is abilities are currently unknown. Armin does have an ability and is rather a powerful one at that. He has no record of using it and would rather keep to himself, his parents are deceased, and has been homeschooled all his life. )

Vaughn: "How do they even know he has an ability if he never used it? Since he has already been enrolled keep an eye on him because he is clouded in mysteries..."

The headmaster wasn't too worried about this as he has seen students with unknown abilities written down as such due to not knowing what to call it but something bugged him and he didn't know why. While they continued to discuss this, Armin was arriving at the school and made his way towards the front office.

While walking their he came across two individuals mocking a person trying to gather his items that were on the floor. Armin didn't care and continued on his way, once he reached the office he went up towards the counter and waited for someone to help him. Soon a middle-aged woman arrived and started speaking with a smile.

???: "Hello, how can I help you?"

Armin: "I just got enrolled and I need my class schedule. My name is Armin Foll."

The woman then moved over towards the computer and began typing on it. After a short moment, she spoke once more.

???: "I'll have it printed out for you in a moment, It also appears you will be staying in one of our dorms so I'll have someone bring you a key, you will also bring sharing it with another student. Just take a seat and I'll have everything ready in a moment."

Armin did what she said and took a seat nearby, he began looking out the window a noticed a familiar person. This person was in fact Seraphina, she had the same hair consisting of magenta hair with yellow streaks. She also was wearing her school uniform correctly instead of wearing it lazily.

Armin: 'I wonder what John is like, wait what timeline am I even in? Has he already became the 'joker'? Guess I find out soon enough...'

After a couple of minutes, the woman called him over again and handed him his class schedule along with a key to a dorm room.

???: "That's everything, you should have some time to go to your dorm room as classes should be starting in about an hour, don't be late please."

Armin: "Thanks."

He then began walking towards the dorms while purchasing clothes, school uniforms, and daily necessities. While walking their he noticed a lot of people had different hair colors and he honestly didn't know if it was because of them using hair dye or simply anime logic.

Eventually, he was standing in front of his dorms door, he naturally put the key in but noticed it was already unlocked. Armin decided to be a normal person and knocked on the door as it soon opened and he became shocked by who opened it.

John: "Yeah?"

Armin held up the room key and John could already tell what was about to happen.

Armin: "Looks like we are sharing the dorm. You can call me Armin."

John moved out the way letting Armin in while pointing towards another room.

John: "That room is free and you can call me John, did you switch dorms, or are you new?"

Armin: "Just enrolled and got my schedules, any rules you want to set up?"

John: "Just don't bother me when I sleep please."

Armin: "Fair enough, you remind me of that dragon."

John turned around and looked at him with confusion.

Armin: "Don't look at me like that, I'm serious. All he wants to do is sleep then sleep some more."

John: "Dragon?"

Armin: "Yup."

John just gave a wry smile and didn't know what else to say, his roommate just started talking about a dragon that likes to sleep so he felt weird.

Armin: "I need to go unpack then I need to go find my classes so I'll see you later."

John: "Alright, if you want I can show you around the school."

Armin smiled and told him thanks but he was also thinking to himself.

Armin: 'Okay so he doesn't appear to have already become joker due to not looking pissed and angry but I wonder what will happen now that I'm here...'

Armin then entered his room and looked around, his room was just a simple-looking room with a bed, closet, and dresser. He didn't need to really put his clothes in them due to having an inventory so he just changed into his uniform. After changing he then made his way out and noticed John was ready to go and he also didn't comb his hair and left it as is.

Armin: 'So it has already reached the point to where he doesn't bother...'

John: "Ready?"

Armin: "Yeah, it's stupid I need to wear this uniform but whatever, by the way, what's your ability?"

He watched as John slightly frowned but he still responded.

John: "I don't have one."

When John said this he looked at Armin's face as whenever he told somebody thing they would give a disgusted look.

Armin: "Really? Sorry I asked, if anybody trouble's you I'll deal with them because I heard people aren't kind to others who don't have power."

John had a slightly surprised look on his face, he decided to wait and see what happened because he couldn't believe that someone would just not care and even offered to help. Sure there was his best friend Seraphina but Armin...

John: "Yeah... Well, I'll show you around now, can you hand me your class schedule?"

Armin handed John his schedule and when he started reading it he became surprised. As to why he becomes surprised?

John: "Huh, looks like you have the same classes as me, just follow me then."

Armin smiled and put the paper in his pocket which then stored itself in his inventory, as they began walking towards they continued to talk.

Armin: "Anything I should know about this school? Rules? Anything really."

John: "It's pretty much a free for all, if you are weak then you will be labeled as a cripple, and others will exploit you. This school has a hierarchy going from low-tiers up to high-tiers, the higher tiers bully the weak and this causes the weaker ones to bully others who are weaker than them."

Armin: "What kind of bullshit is that?"

Once again John looked towards Armin with a surprised look on his face.

Armin: "Screw the hierarchy, why can't people just be normal and learn. This is a school not a fucking battlefield."

John: "That I can agree on, there is a guy named Arlo who is considered the King while Seraphina could be considered the Queen. She uses to be are schools ace but she doesn't do turf wars anymore. She also happens to be my best friend haha."

Armin: "Good for you man haha, I was worried I'd be your only friend for a moment. Glad you are friends with none other the Queen but I do have a question, what happens when the queen or King gets dethroned?"

John: "Simple really, If you beat them then it means you stronger so you naturally become the king or queen. Do you have an ability?"

Armin: "You could say so but I don't really care about that stuff, I just need to finish Highschool and I'll be gone."

John: "You don't want to brag about it? I'm sure you'll make other 'friends' with your strength."

Armin: "That's the thing, John, If you're strong then people will look up to you and want to be friends but what if you suddenly lost your ability? What would are 'friends' do about it? Nothing, one moment your friends but the next you would only be trash in their eyes."

John looked at Armin once more and he remembered his past.

John: "That I can definitely agree on."

After he finished talking somebody called out to John, the voice was familiar to Armin but John smiled from it.

John: "Hey Seraphina, how your day so far?"

Seraphina: "Good I guess, who's this?"

John looked towards Armin and after a few moments spoke.

John: "His name is Armin, we ended up sharing a dorm together. He a nice guy so far."

Seraphina then focused on Armin as he looked familiar.

Seraphina: "Have we met before? You look familiar but I don't remember you."

Armin: "Well I was in the office for my class schedule earlier and you probably saw me in the corner of your eye."

When she heard this she finally remembered where she saw him. Armin then smiled and spoke again.

Armin: "John here was just showing me to class since I don't know where it is, apparently we have the exact same classes together."

John: "Yeah, first we ended up sharing the dorm and now we have the same classes. If Seraphina is alright with it you can hang out with us at the mall later."

Armin then looked towards her and waited for an answer, she didn't really have a problem with it as John didn't seem bothered by him.

Seraphina: "Sure, it was nice to meet you Armin but you both should get to class because it's about to start."

John has a look of confusion on his face but when he looked at a nearby clock he noticed class would start in a few moments.

John: "Oh your right, bye we will see you later."

As Armin and John left Seraphina continued to look at Armin became she was worried he was being exploited again but maybe not. She then wondered if she should skip class again and go to the roof or not.

Eventually, John and Armin made it to their first class and John took his seat while Armin spoke to the teacher.

Armin: "I was enrolled and this is my class, is their anywhere you want me to sit, or can I find my own?"

As he said this he handed the teacher his class schedule showing him that this was indeed his classroom he should belong in.

Teacher: "Sit behind Abby, she is the one with red hair."

After saying this he spoke up again while being loud enough for everyone to hear him.

Teacher: "We have a new student joining, now be quiet and listen up because the class is starting."

Armin was walking down the rows of desks and sat down behind 'Abby' as the teacher soon began teaching. He also noticed multiple eyes occasionally looking towards him but he simply ignored them.

Armin: 'System...'

[ Yes? ]

Armin: 'I'm bored...'

[ And? ]

Armin: 'Is there anything fun I can do?'

[ Talk to your family? ]

Armin: 'True.'

He then opened the message system and sent a message to Ethereal and Priscilla. He decided to joke with them by asking for something, luckily Armin was able to use his mind to type otherwise he would look strange if he suddenly started typing on nothing.

[ Message to Ethereal/Priscilla.

Armin: Send Nudes haha. ]

When he sent this he played it off as a joke but then he realized that they would actually do this.

[ Ethereal/Priscilla: *Image*

You brought this upon your self, haha, now you get to see us naked but you have to stay in class ;) ]

Armin began cursing himself but he still ended up texting his wives. Due to not everyone having their own system yet, he ended up having to use Ethereal or Priscilla to send his messages to them. Time slowly passed on and eventually, the teacher spoke up.

Teacher: "That will be everything for today, make sure to turn in the homework I've given out by tomorrow. There are still five minutes until class is over so you can do whatever you want till then, just remain quiet."

While Armin was texting his family Abby gave him a sheet of paper causing him to look over it. Once he received the paper he noticed he completely ignored the entire lesson because he was given homework.

Armin: "Fucking homework..."

When Abby heard this she couldn't help but lightly giggle as she turned out and spoke.

Abby: "I know what you mean, I'm Abby what's your name?"

Armin: "You can call me Armin."

As he said this he picked up his pencil and gave a quick look over his 'homework' and he noticed how simple it was. Armin then used his dexterity and instantly finished his homework. Abby didn't even notice this and became confused as to why Armin suddenly stood up.

Abby: "Why are you getting up?"

Armin: "I want to tell the teacher something."

She nodded as Armin walked towards their teacher and handed him his 'homework' and spoke.

Armin: "I'm done."

When the teacher heard this he became confused as well and decided to look over the paper and instantly noticed something strange and it even caused his eyes to hurt while getting a painful headache.

Teacher: "Do you realize how much trouble you can get in because you are using your ability on me?"

Armin: "Come again?"

When the teacher said this Armin became confused which his teacher noticed.

Teacher: "Your ability is related to your writing or something right?"

Everyone started listening in when the teacher said this, who wouldn't want to know about a new student's ability? Armin just realized that he wrote in the language used by Gods from his past life.

Armin: "Oh that's not my ability, if I used my ability then you would be dead. I was just used to writing in this language, I'll fix it."

When the teacher heard this he instantly frowns as he thought Armin was threatening him but before he could say anything he was given the paper once more in English.

Teacher: "I'm going to forget what you just said but you're going to have detention for a while."

Armin: "No thanks I'm good."

As Armin began to leave the teacher spoke up in an angered voice.

Teacher: "Go to the office now!"

When he said this the teacher pushed the button on the wall which called the office but Armin really didn't care but still decided to go their anyway. Some of the class started laughing as they were amused by Armin's behavior.

John watched in confusion as to why his friend did this but decided he would ask him later, Armin eventually made his way to the office, and when he entered he spoke.

Armin: "Teacher said to come here so I'm here."

Soon a middle-aged man spoke.

Administrator: "Name?"

Armin: "Armin Foll"

When the Administrator heard this he called out to a nearby man who then came over. Armin noticed the name tag on the person's clothes which said, Alex.

Alex: "Follow me, the headmaster wants to speak to you for what you did."

Armin didn't care and just followed and soon he reached Vaughn's office. After walking in Alex then left leaving him alone with the headmaster, Armin took a seat, and out of curiosity, he checked his stats.

Accelerated Thought: Let's the user increase how much they can think under any situation.

Photographic Memory: Lets the user remember and detail that notice for as long as they wish.

Calming Mind: Lets the user remain calm but if to much stress or anything else accumulate then the skill will deactivate. ]

Armin could only secretly sigh in disappointment as this world really did seem weak. He then waited for the headmaster to speak which he soon did.

Vaughn: "Your first day here and you already got sent to the office, care you tell me your side of the story?"

Armin: "What's to tell? I turned in my 'homework' and he thought I used my ability on him. I'm used to writing in a different language as a force of habit and when I changed it he said I would have detention for a while. I'm not doing that."

Vaughn: "Really? I was told you threatened him, care to write in the language you're used to? I happened to know almost all of them."

Vaughn then handed him a piece of paper along with a pen he had laying nearby on his desk. Armin grabbed the paper and began writing while talking.

Armin: "When he first claimed I used my ability on him I told him if I did then he would be dead. He is just power-hungry if I had to say."

Armin then passed the paperback to the headmaster and when he looked at it his eyes began to hurt while he started receiving a massive headache. The headmaster continued to try and 'read' it but Armin grabbed the paper and ruined it making it unreadable

Seeing this caused the headmaster to frown.

Vaughn: "Why did you do that?"

Armin then pointed towards his shirt causing Vaughn to look down and noticed it was bloody, he then touched his nose and noticed he was having a bad nose bleed. Armin grabbed a nearby box of tissue paper and handed it to him.

Armin: "That's why, can I go now? I think my next class should be starting soon."

Vaughn: "That could only be your ability, Mr. Foll! Why did you say it wasn't?"

Armin: "Because it's not."

Vaughn: "Reading an unknown language does not cause this!"

The headmaster was starting to get angry but his calming mind was lessening it but Armin was already annoyed.

Armin: "It. Is. Not. My. Ability."

Vaughn: "Then prove it."

Armin got annoyed and decided to let him meet Sif, so what if he did? He could literally kill the entire planet if he wanted to so it's not like he needed to worry, Armin grabbed his wrist and used ID-Create and they soon arrived.

Vaughn looked around in confusion and noticed he was in a grassy field and he suddenly heard Armin speak.

Armin: "No this is not an Illusion and if you want feel free to get yourself killed by Sif."

When he heard this he turned around a went pale due to seeing a massive wolf holding an equity massive sword in its mouth. Sif didn't know what was happening but he could tell Armin was annoyed so he formed a savage look and started growling towards Vaughn.

Armin: "Don't you want to see if this is an illusion? Sif is super nice and likes to play so go on, do it."

Vaughn: "SEND ME BACK NOW!"

Armin secretly smiled and petted Sif before taking the headmaster back to his office. Once they arrived back, Armin stood up and spoke.

Armin: "There your proof, I'm not going to deal with any bullshit a teacher or student gives me. I came to learn not to sit in detention for no reason, I'm going to class."

As Armin left the headmaster's office he began walking back to his class while Vaughn picked up his office phone and began putting in a number.

Vaughn: "I'd like to set up a meeting about a new student... I don't know if he is like John but we need to talk..."

Armin then arrived back to class and walked back in causing everyone to focus on him, the teacher then spoke.

Teacher: "I told you to go to the office, why didn't you go?"

Armin: "I did and when I told the headmaster your a shitty teacher he agreed and let me come back, I would be worried if I were you because your might just lose your job haha."

When everyone heard this they couldn't help but laugh out loud and the teacher resisted the urge to just hit Armin but he knew he couldn't do that. The teacher then called the office again and when he asked if Armin went to the office the intercom said he did and was sent back.

Hearing then made the teacher believe he might actually be fired and was very confused. Armin already returned to his seat while John moved over to talk with him. Abby had disgust all over his face.

Abby: "What does a cripple like you want with Armin?"

When Armin heard this he became annoyed.

Armin: "Because we share a dorm maybe?"

John has a frown but it soon turned to a smile and spoke.

John: "What does a class thot like you want with Armin?"

When Abby heard this she became furious and her eyes started to glow blue but before she could do anything the bell sounded out signaling that class was over. Armin patted her shoulder while speaking.

Armin: "It was nice meeting you Abby, but we should be heading to our next class."

Abby didn't really mind Armin but she focused all he anger on John due to calling her a thot. John grabbed his stuff and met up with Armin who was waiting and they then made their way towards their next class.

Armin: "Do you have any classes with Seraphina?"

John: "My final class but she often skips them and hangs around on the roof why?"

Armin then faked a nose bleed with the help of the system and spoke.

Armin: "Eh, could you perhaps take me to the infirmary office?"

John became confused by the sudden nose bleed but he still showed him the way. Once they arrived Armin noticed a man with messy blue hair and a slightly growing beard and Armin already knew that the man's name was Darren.

Darren: "Damnit John what happened this time!"

John: "N-Not me this time haha, My friend here got a nose bleed and it's not stopping."

John had a fake scared face when he said this and Armin knew why, Darren could be mean when people cause problems for him and John often did due to always being injured. Darren because less annoyed and spoke.

Darren: "Oh well let me get you something for it, what happened? Doesn't look like you got in a fight or anything."

Armin: "You can go ahead and go to class John I'll find my way there, I don't know I felt a headache and I suddenly started having a nose bleed. Must be because I'm so smart haha."

John didn't know what to say to the idiotic words he just heard and decided to leave but before he left he spoke.

John: "Alright and we will wait for you after school, later Armin."

After John left, Darren started making some type of medic but once he finishes they both heard a loud crashing sound causing Darren to curse his job.

Darren: "God damnit, Drink this and you should be fine I need to go do something."

After he left Armin wanted to see exactly what this medicine was so he inspected it.

[ Beyond Lesser Healing Medicine

Description: This liquid is a terrible healing effect that could take minutes to heal simple injuries and hours to heal a mild injury. ]

Armin didn't need it so he dumped it out and left the room and as to where he was going? To check the roof of course!
