Heavy Machinery Part (2)

While Karisa was sitting down enjoying the stew made from wolf meat howling could be heard in the forest frightening everyone even her its just that she kept her composure and not allow her emotions to show on her face the two guards Ranr and Seras had nervous looks on their face while they had their weapons ready pointing towards the source of the sound.

Karisa told them not to worry as the power from the Days Bloom will keep them away as the smell it gives off causes them to hate it. With that said they eased their vigilance a bit.

After the meal everyone was still up due to it not being too late to go to sleep and while this was done you could see Ranr swing his bo stuff at a tree and Seras using a tree as her target to shoot arrows at.

They were doing the same movements as Nile did but although crude from what he performed it was getting better with each try. You can even hear a slight sound of whistling in the air performed by the moves and could see Ranr swinging doing much more damage to the tree and Seras aiming her arrows in more of a straight line hitting certain parts of the tree forming a pattern.

Everyone was impressed with their movements and they wanted to join too seeing their performance and they happily obliged by bringing extra weaponry with them.

This went on for half an hour with Ranr and Seras still practicing while the others were on the ground panting. Both of them gave them looks of sympathy because they had gone through the same thing as even if they both went over 30 minutes it became harder and harder to maintain.

Now With the moonlight at its peak it was time to prepare to rest so Ranr took the first watch and two others joined him. They switched off 3 times during the Night to allow enough energy recovery for those on the watch.

The Sun rose and it was time to set off once again. Back to the Village after Nile had woken up he went to check on the processes of the villages seeing that they are coming along as more trees are being taken down to make space and using the fruit of the tree to plant elsewhere to avoid deforestation.

The builders were laying the foundation for houses in quite a speedily manner and even the growing farm with the growing vegetable, fruits and other crops will soon sprout to be able to solve the problem of plant based food for now and the wolf meat will soon run out so making sure we have animal husbandry soon for edible animals will be implemented when the others return so I can make a plan.

Nile then returned to the forge to start today's work. He saw the group again from yesterday waiting in front of the door to the forge for me.

In all honesty they looked unhappy most likely due to making a roundabout trip and not getting here fast enough.

Nile greeted them and they pushed him inside as if they were rearing to get started on the parts.

The parts were going to be all made of steel, rubber, copper and other things that were needed. The mining team came and delivered the necessary things especially what I wanted which was the oil to make rubber with.

We all went to work and I laid out the instructions given and told them to partner up with each other so if mistakes are made the other can help correct them as well.

They fired up the main forge following what I taught them with me there to guide them if they need help with the following molds, cooling them down, tempering them,grinding them into the shape they wanted.

While some work on the making of the framework and other parts to form the shape of the vehicle NIle assisted them and went to do other things while the rest of the others assisted me with making the power system of the vehicle.

It took 9 hours to complete the power system and the others doing the rest of the task were almost complete with the workload.

Honestly Nile was extremely tired mentally as he had to focus in multiple places to instruct them and guide them while making the power system so he was exhausted but he knew that the more time he puts into work now the less time spent the next day.

But he was happy and told the others to assist with the rest of the work knowing that these things are needed. Nile went to make glass for the vehicle, not ordinary glass but tempered glass mixed with something called Compact sand that they found in the mines that was near a pool.

It had strong bonds almost as if magnetic but it was only due to the structure and will make for great glass so as to avoid accidents happening while using the vehicles.

Everyone knows how glass is made as it is expensive as I was told that only mages or alchemists know how to make them.

To prove them wrong Nile waited for them to finish which was a little over an hour and then told them to come around the glass blowing forge which had molten sand.

I used a scoop and poured it on a flat table mold made with the same materials as the other molds. Then used a spreader to quicken up the spreading speed and left it to set.

This was done by the others as they didn't believe glass was made from sand can be done with this method.

It was only until the glass had finally set that they gasped in shock. I even told them to bring a Hammer Ron and Yule and the rest shouted when they saw my action of swinging it but when the hammer landed the expected shatter turned to a muffled bang.

They looked wandering what type glass doesn't shatter when hit expecting Nile to answer them he just said " This is just regular engineering how could you guys not know and that what you were doing"

They had a questioning look on their faces as if wondering what Engineering is.
