Alex chuckled, the tension easing from his shoulders. Brittany's concerns were fair. "Alright, alright, Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of turning Marlowe into your personal drill sergeant."
"Excellent, So, what are these ground rules then, oh mighty god?"
"They're simple," Alex began, leaning forward with a serious expression. "First, Marlowe's a novice. A beginner adventurer, as you'd call it. She needs a teacher, not a drill sergeant. So, focus on helping her understand her powers, not pushing her to exhaustion."
Brittany nodded eagerly. "Makes sense. Building a strong foundation is key."
"Second," Alex continued, extending a finger, "she still has school. Remember, she's young. Education is important, even for future sonic-boom masters."
