God Of death

Jim had been busy partying and drinking with his friends since it was the day before graduation. Toasting ladies, and leading them onto the dance floor to seranate, Jim enjoyed himself to the fullest. Once the party was over, and everybody was on their way home. Looking for his car in the bar garage wobbling about, he couldn't see where he was going and ended up bumping into a large figure. *Thud* Falling on the cold hard floor. His head felt heavy as he struggled to balance himself before getting back up. Pushing off his hands, his body swayed from side to side, until he managed to gain considerable balance. "Hey who the hell are you?!" he asked, drunk. The large figure said nothing, and the next second, Jim could feel something sharp penetrate his abdomen. "My name... is irrelevant," thrusting the blade further, the pointed edge seemed to have punctured through Jim's back. He spat out blood as his eyes grew wide in shock. Whatever hangover he was having, didn't nullify the pain in any way. After a few minutes of struggle, the frail body of Jim stopped moving, and slumped onto the ground as the large figure pulled out the blade. Three Idiots(Part 2)

The cool breeze of the early morning wafted into the room from the open window, blowing her hair back, pushing more of her perfume towards Jim. Although he found it hard to resist, he managed to restrain himself until he stood right behind her.

"I wouldn't want to keep you waiting, Tyler!" turning him around, a fist connected with his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. Struggling to gasp for air, he fell on his knees, clenching his stomach tightly. "This might hurt a lot, but it sure was worth it!" Tyler said as he burst out into laughter, still clenching his abdomen tightly.

Pushing the door open, Blake fell down laughing, his body rolling on the floor as though he was on fire. "He's right, man. We got you good!" The two laid on the floor mocking their friend. Jim was fighting the urge to kick them both in the stomach.

"You hurt me, I hurt you back. Such is life, my friends," Jim said with a light chuckle.

The two ignored him as they struggled to regain their composure. "C'mon guys, let's get outta here before someone catches us in here," Blake said as he left the room. After the little prank they had pulled, the two decided to head back to the computer lab.

"Aren't you coming? Ah, don't tell me you're still mad. Alright, how about next time, you'll be the girl and end up fooling me. How about tha-" a heavy punch was enough to make Blake shut up as he rubbed the area near his lip. "Nevermind," he eventually said.

Jim had decided to head to the cafeteria where most of the students were present. Since today was his last day of high school, he had decided since the start of the day to enjoy it to the fullest, despite the lows here and there.

Pushing the large double doors, Jim could see multiple unfamiliar faces. Scanning the room, he eventually found the apple of his eye, sitting with her circle of friends enjoying their breakfast and chatting happily.

"This is my chance to make a connection. It's now or never," Jim steeled his resolve. Walking towards her table, June noticed him approaching and waved towards him. This was enough to motivate Jim past the point of no return as he suddenly increased his pace, but ended up bumping into someone else.

The sheer build of the person had knocked Jim off his feet. Jim had an average body with minimum muscle. He wasn't weak by any means, but wasn't strong either. As he propped himself off the floor, his injured right eye suddenly began to twitch.

Standing in front of him was one of the school's top athletes and popular kid named Daniel Curly. A black-haired teenager with hazel eyes. His perfect jawline and over six-feet height was enough to make most of the school girls to swoon over him, but not people like June Madison.

Whether or not that was the reason Daniel Curley hated him, Jim wasn't sure, but he was keenly aware of one thing. Ducking just in time, he had avoided a punch from the large student. "You're not gonna let me have peace, will you?" Jim said sarcastically.

"You twerp. What does June even see in you?" Creating some distance between the two, Jim was thinking of any way possible to avoid another fight from happening. The first one had injured his right eye from not dodging in time, he didn't want to be called 'Black-eyed man' during his last day of high school.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" the students had quickly gathered to watch a fight take place. Some even took out their phones to record the severe beating Jim was going to endure from his 'competitor'.

Videos of their last clash were all over the web streamed from the popular students' account platforms earning them more views and followers as well as more cash for those who monetize their platforms.

Jim had quickly become a laughing stock not only in his real life but all over the internet as well, and with no one influencial enough by his side, there is nothing he could or can do about it.

Dashing out of the cafeteria, Jim could hear the voices of people laughing at him, and calling him names. As he left the main building, word quickly spread about what had transpired and even Blake and Tylor were now aware of it.

_________

"Hey Tyler, have you tried out this new game? It's addictive!" Blake was lazer-focused in his game. The sound of explosions and people's screams echoed from the computer system, however, Tyler was far too busy with something else to care about some new video game.

"I can't talk right now, I'm practicing this new post high school practice exam in preparation for out next external exams. We can't let ourselves rust out just because we're done with our highschool external exams."

"What do you mean 'we'?" Blake raised a brow. "Remember our last exam? We hired someone to send us the answers a week beforehand. Why can't we do the same thing again?"

Although Tyler wanted to respond, he had nothing to say in his defense. The truth is that they could simply just do the same thing. Everyone in their class did it, and everybody passed.

"Truth is, I just want us to get familiar with our syllabus. Just because we can cheat and pass, doesn't mean we can do that once we're finally graduates from college," Tyler explained.

"At least you have a point," Blake responded.

While the two were busy with their respective activities, a notification suddenly appeared on both their screens, and on top, it had the caption 'World's Most Stupid Human Being.' Although they wouldn't have cared much if it was a stranger, but from the image of whom the video was referring to, Blake was struggling to contain his anger.

__________

Although hurt by his own classmates' actions, Jim accepted the fact that the day must go on. Besides, this wasn't the first time he had been absolutely embarrassed in public.

Walking towards the computer lab, Jim decided to play some video games on the systems before break time was finally over. Arriving in front of the door, he heard a voice call his name from behind.

"Jim, wait!"

Recognizing who it was, he quickly turned around.

"I'm sorry for what you had to go through back there. For some reason, I feel like I'm the reason you're suffering so much right now," unexpectedly, she reached out her hand to hold his. Reluctant at first, Jim quickly gave in, allowing her to hold both his hands with hers.

"I will talk to Daniel, and I will try to change people's opinions about you on the internet," she said with a soft smile. "Just please, promise me that you will forgive Daniel once this whole stuff blows over."

Although being so close to her, in hailing her perfume, and holding her soft hands were soothing, hearing the last part suddenly broke the trance. 'Forgive Daniel?' Daniel Curly? Was this a joke? Daniel had been the bane of his life ever since day one.

_________

After that incident that had just taken place, the crowd of students quickly dispersed, seeing nothing else interesting as they resumed their day as of nothing ever happened, although they gossiped about it secretly and in tightly-sealed friend groups.

The alarm suddenly rang, signalling classes for the day had begun. As Jim was still searching for his class, he had passed by four fairly large students wearing sports jerseys while one was holding a football.

As the new freshman walked past them, they suddenly ended their discussion and turned to face him. Throwing the football, it hit the boy at the back of his head, pushing him to the floor. Jim braced himself for impact by pushing against the floor with his palms. Getting back up, he realized who it was that threw the ball.

"Don't go around looking for trouble," remembering the words of his elder sister, Jim took a deep breath, before turning around and continuing to mind his own business.

"Is this kid mentally unstable or something?!" one, a boy with curly blonde hair and brown eyes said, loud enough for Jim to hear.

"I agree. He must've been discharged from a mental hospital and brought here so he could ruin all our lives with his madness!"

"Look at his head twitch. I bet he can't wait to rip our faces out of rage. What a hazard to society!"

What they were trying to do was annoy the freshman to the point that he would retaliate. Their plan seemed to have worked, as Jim slowly turned around.
