"Yo, Your Highness, Your Grace."
A mature and tall Waraney calmly greeted us, when we arrived at our team watcher's post, at the southeast of the Campus Library.
He's a short-haired guy wearing a red and black uniform, which is very detailed and full of golden magical enchantment drawn on all of the 5 pieces (head, top, bottom, hands, and feet). There are 2 Ratna (gem) each on his weapons, they are of different colors.
Oh and also, 5 accessories were attached to his body, 2 rings, 2 bracelets, and 1 necklace. All of them were made out of platinum, with 3 holding a Goshenite and 2 holding a Ruby. Which are fully enhanced.
From the symbol of a red stag on his left sleeve, we can tell that he's a Wengkow Waraney (SS), a bearer of spear and shield, the vanguard of my tribe's army.
"Sir Mahanta!? You're a part of the Guild!?" I nearly shouted, I felt really taken aback. I'm sure Anna and the ice twins also felt the same.
"Hm? Didn't I always look tough? Why are you so shocked about it, Your Highness?" He smiled sarcastically.
Mahanta is one of our teachers and instructors during our military study back there at Selebes Island. I knew he always inhumanely strong, but I never expect it's because he's blessed by the God of Death as a member of the Guild.
"Sir Mahanta, why are you still ranked Platinum? Isn't Guild already established 18 years ago? You should've been on the highest rank, right?" Hada asked after seeing his rank on his right sleeve.
"Well… I spent the last 13 years teaching, so my rank hasn't improved yet." Sir Mahanta seemed a bit surprised when he heard that question, but he's not embarrassed to talk about it.
"And if you're talking about Diamond rank… then you're somewhat wrong, Your Grace. Diamond isn't the highest rank anymore. Didn't the King tell you about this? His Majesty is the highest-ranking member after all."
Wait really? That's news to me. To be fair, we rarely interact with him now that I think about it. He was always so busy with everything.
"We never heard about it." Anna's eyebrows widen in surprise.
"Oh… ah, we can talk more about this later, now let's go on with your mission shall we?"
With that said, our watcher started his explanation for today's orientation.
Our mission is located on the east side of Kendang province. There are monsters—or Taanji in Land Language—making a camp around the mining spot in that area.
These groups of Taanji are called Uhndak or to translate it directly, Short People. They almost resemble the Keeper of this Island, the Kaoma (Chaos tribe), but only uglier, dumber, and weaker.
The Kaoma themselves, as the native of the Kaput Island, never had any big trouble with the Taanji here, since they are under the protection of the Chaos Tree.
Sure since Taanji is also part of the wildlife, they can hurt the Kaoma. However, it's only to the point like how we humans with a wild animal.
Meanwhile, if a Taanji just remotely detects us, no matter if they are in Selebes or Kaput, they will deliberately attack us with all their might, as if they have some grudge with us or something.
Herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore, there's no such thing as peaceful Taanji to us humans. Oh and since Sarma is also a Keeper, not a human, they also don't suffer from over-the-top hostility from the Taanji.
"Should we order some Talaria (wind horse transport) service, or has the Academy already provided some for us?"
Chiya summoned her handheld telephone from her dimension to order the service from the Bayu Express, the transportation, and distribution company owned by the Wongali (Wind tribe).
"We already have 2 dragons, we don't need any Talaria…" Hada looked at Chiya as if she's the dumbest person he ever met.
"…?" Chiya lost for words, she was genuinely confused about what he meant by the dragons.
"Don't be so harsh brother, the lady came from the Cities Above the Sky, of course she wouldn't know about Revian and Althea," I said to Hada with a mocking smile.
"Oh Cold Wind, not even educated about another human tribe? Tch, whatever… yo Draconus, let's ride!" Hada then sassily gave his order to the dragons.
"As you wish, Your Grace."
The air glimmer with shattered golden light as Both of them began casting a spell unique only to the Draconus Family. It's a gift bestowed by the God of War, as a part that made them a full-fledged dragon.
When the atmosphere grow thicker they both lowered their bodies and curled into a crawling position. Immediately, all the light transformed and absorbed into between their thick armor, covering the entire area with an emerald shade.

"Metamorfosa…"
As their heavy voices struck the air, each plate of armor on their body flew, released floating in the air. Stone-textured Metal then wraps each side of their body that is no longer clothed, changing into watertight skin.
Slowly their body changed, into a giant four-legged reptile, with sharp, holy diamond-coated nails. On their backs, a pair of giant wings flapped, blowing every dust and foliage around them.
"I-I-I see…"
Both of the Sky Scientists be bewildered, gawking at the two blessed creatures in front of them. We called those who came from the Draconus family dragons not just because they had dragon-like looks, but because they literally are a fucking dragon.
All their kokkradrium scale suddenly starts forming a room on their back, alongside couples of huge thorns as a defense mechanism on many spots on their body.
The beasts are now up for a ride!
"Bro-Highness, how are we going to divide the passengers?" Falisha casually asked.
"Hmm…"
I never thought of that. Revian alone is enough to carry the entire team plus Sir Mahanta, we don't really need to put anyone on Althea's seat.
"How about the two of us stayed on Althea? She's tinier and a lot more mobile. If some Taanji or Void's nonsense come to ambush us, we can flank them with her maneuver."
A brilliant suggestion I suppose.
All four of us Kaukseya (including Anna) have already encountered countless Taanji during our military study. Although we rarely defeated them, since it's kind of too hard for a Shamna (6th level of elemental progression) to fight against them. That's why the Guild exists, to protect the normal folks against the monstrosity they brought to the New World.
"Alright kids, we can chat more on the way. Now let us hurry, so it won't get dark when we finally finish with today's mission." Said Sir Mahanta.
"Will do, Sir!"
As we answered in unison, the two dragons began reshaping some of their thorns into tiny stairs for us to hop in, while pulling their wings into bodyside armor.
All of us answered the invitation and pleased ourselves to comfortably sit in their room. Now, we're ready for our first venture, outside of the safety of the city's wall.
"Let's go!"
