Following the plan, the six of us gathered back at the 'stable' Revian and Althea were in, then rode on to visit the governor at the heart of the city. The only things we did before were just a quick check-in at the hotel and putting our luggage in the room.
"Let's see… the receptionist lady actually gave us a map to the Government Office. We can follow the main road to get there, it's about… 15 kilos from here." I spread the map wide open on the floor of Revian's room. "Does this city too crowded for your vision, Revian? or can I just let you go unguided after traveling 12 kilos?" I asked the Dragon.
"I doubt it, Your Highness. But neither myself nor Althea knows how the building looks like." The beast answered while driving himself outside of the stable to enter the main right in front of it.
"Fair enough, then I shall guide you till you confident enough."
Revian can read the map I put on the floor of his room, but only if he's standing still. The Draconus might possess a strong ability to their vision, but it's only magnificence at seeing such detail if he's focusing himself to see it.

The ride to the Government Office took about 30 minutes. The street was very crowded with Kaoma running around living their life, not to mention all the bearded lizards called Bewok, which carried tons of boxes on their back filled with Kaoma's cargo, and don't forget the camels… which you know, a lot slimmer than the lizards.
The road was very clean however, even with sandstorms happening here and there, the Kaoma always manage to clear those sands away.
"Welcome, Your Highness!"
At the Government Office, we're greeted by some kind of valet in black and red uniform who spoke very formal and mannered, unlike those in the hotel who still have an accent in their tongue.
The valet was probably a soldier as well since he carried a curved sword on his waist and a big round shield on his back. At the spot, he directed us to a parking lot which already filled with a couple Talaria Carts. We're not the first ones to arrive.
"Through this door Your Highness, Governor Traakald is waiting for you on the second floor." The valet opened the door next to the parking lot, it was a lot smaller than the one on the front which was located behind lines of giant white pillars that stood tall on its terrace.
This building is quite big, you can probably put 5 Genka houses by its length alone. The wall is made out of concrete, painted in pure white, while the floor is wooden with a color similar to a temperate forest.
"Please wait here, Your Highness."
A black lady in a grey suit put us in the waiting room with lines and columns of chairs. The room was very crowded with Kaoma filling the seats. Some of them came alone, some as a couple, and some as family. They all have their own sets of problems that need to be taken care of by the governor's officials.
At the front of the room was a lady sitting behind the desk with piles of paper above it. She's an announcer, she'll call people if it's finally their turn. While on the left side is a bunch of doors with different labels stated on them depending on the section, like law, public safety, legal product, health, technology, and so on.
It was very complex, you could easily tell that this Grand City was highly influenced by the Sky Scientist, or at least by God of Knowledge himself.
"Mister… Sahasya—" The announcer lady quickly covered her mouth with both hands in shock. "Bloody bedlam, it's the crown prince!" She looked a bit scared after she just said my name without honorary.
In a rush, she knocked on the wall behind her two times. Right after, a girl in a grey blazer and skirt came to her from the door right beside her desk. The announcer pulled her head close and whispered to her while having her eyes trying really hard to avoid contact with our team. Oh by the way Revian and Althea were currently on their Kaoma form.
After hearing the announcer's words, the girl immediately walked towards us in a professional manner and greeted me with a rigid smile.
"Your Highness, Your Honorable, please come with me."
"Sure."
She then led us through the door she came from and turned to a U-shaped stair heading towards the second floor. And when we arrived upstairs, the sight of the governor's office got instantly presented before us.
The name of Traakald Wendira was beautifully written on its door.
*Knock! Knock! Knock!* The girl knocked three times on the door. "Sir, His Highness is here."
I didn't hear a single reply coming from inside, but after waiting a couple seconds, the girl opened the door wide for us, and please us to enter. We took up on her offer and walked straight to the room.
"Ah, Your Highness! A pleasure to have you here in our city. In my office even." The governor greeted us with open arms.
He was somewhat taller than most Kaoma, with the appearance of someone who cleans and grooms themselves 5 times a day. His black suit looks like it just came out of the laundry, and the red handkerchief on his chest pocket was sparkling wet with perfume.
His hair is short and neatly combed while being extremely black and rigid from some kind of gel. His smile felt sinister and opportunistic, but I don't see any evil intention coming by just a first glance, instead, he looked like he was stuck in deep desperation.
The office itself wasn't very spacious as everything else in this building. It's a normal size just as big as Miss Inova's office, the Guild Director back there at Selebes Island. The view from his windows was really cool though, and the flags behind him were also neatly lined.
It was the banner of the 10 provinces, including Kendang which is fully under the rule of our kingdom.
"The pleasure is ours as well Government Traakald," I replied to his warm welcome.
"Kald, just call me Mr. Kald. Now please… have a seat." His hand gestured at the 6 red desk chairs right in front of his desk.
Given the permission, we put our arse on those comfy-looking seats he offered us. And to no one surprise, it was the famous Kaoma silk. I suddenly have the urge to just drop my pants and let my skin feel the smoothness of it.
"Now… let's talk about your… 'mission'."
