The world you all know has long since fallen apart, your friends and family are now either vacationing in Heaven or rotting in Hell. But for the chosen ones, the Creator has awakened a new World for them based on magic and science. A world occupied by three nations, with different homes and bodies. Intelligent scientists in the sky, creative craftsmen on land, and artists bathed in beauty below the ocean. 18 years have passed since the birth of the first generation of the Island of Kaput. At the age of 5, everyone was to be sent to the Main Island for our study since there was no school here when we were a kid. But now, the God of Death made us a college to prepare ourselves for the unending danger brought by the people from the unknown world filled with nothing but the Void. This is the story of me and my classmates trying our best to be graduated as members of the Guild, an official organization handling the matter of monsters and dangers from the Void.

A Way There pt.2

The journey started with some unsettling bright light that covered our way. Though knowing this was a skill of one of the Guild members was somewhat relieving.

However, the same can't be said the same for Revian, the longer we travel, the farther we went from the city, the more unease the dragon went. All of us here can feel his fear growing stronger and stronger.

He sensed something, but since our Watcher told him to not pay much attention to his ability to see through solid ground, he tried his best to not warn us about it.

"Attention Deer Apple, we spotted a couple of S-ranked dangers heading toward your way, stay sharp!" Said Sir Asger through the communication device.

"Thought as much…"

I guess Sir Mahanta getting a bit worried about Revian condition. His animalistic instinct must have forced him to stay further away from such threat, yet now he tried his best to embrace it, fully aware of what awaited.

"Relax boy, you're going to be fine…" He said to calm Revian down. I wonder if Althea back there also felt the same…

"Contact!"

Suddenly a panicky sound came from the device, and all of us immediately fixed our gaze to the front.

"By the Conqueror's name…"

I saw a giant made out of stone, five times the size of a standing Draconus. Their skins are charcoal black, and a shade of maroon red light streamed through every part of their body.

Pairs of striking red eyes stared sharply at our convoy, and their stance created a motion with their hand on their far back, gesturing something is about to be thrown.

"Uh… Green Angel?"

I could hear an awkward voice coming from Sir Mahanta, trying to call for assistance.

"Relax mate, we're good at our job." Sir Asger replied, but this time no longer with a strict way of talking like they usually do.

A bunch of gigantic rocks was thrown, flying high in the air toward us, covering the shade of moonlight with their overly large bodies. They're coated in maroon light, full of chaotic energy

It was a terrifying sight to behold.

Suddenly a sparkle of cyan fireflies gathered, surrounded by the ever cold mist. All of them began to form a wide ice shield, it was translucent yet the night made their shape as clear as a day.

Brown dust then covered them, slowly enveloping every side of the shield, strengthening it with the power of earth elements.

*Crack!*

As those advances fell, the shield cracked and slowly thickens with each rock that hits it. Even with the combined strength of the two elements, chaotic energy will make them grow unstable. Fortunately, they are barely enough to hold the first wave of it.

"Praise the Sun, we survive!" I yelled, it was a yet thrilling experience.

"Don't jinx it, there are more to come!" Said Hada beside me.

Then I looked once more to the front, and the Chaos Giants back to their previous stance, readying themselves to throw their nonsense at us.

Therefore the sky turned green, and I saw a large snake creeping in the air, with a bright toxic blue color enlightened from its eyes.

The beast opened its mouth, fuming venom mist that made the air vaporize and corrode the skin of the Giants. The snake size grows larger as the mouth widens, and one by one it started to devour every single giant whose been harassing us.

"Huft… that'll take care of it."

All of a sudden a man stepped on top of Revian's room. His voice is somewhat familiar, it was the same as the one we've been hearing throughout this journey.

"Sup Deer Apple, still intact?"

It's Sir Asger himself that came to grace us with his presence.

"Please don't use code when talking face to face, Senior…"

Why do they use code anyway? It's not like the enemies are able to understand our name and language… unless…

"What's up?" Sir Asger appears to receive a call from his device.

"The fuck!? You shitheads are fucking Masters!"

"Wha—"

"What do you mean they escape!?"

"Bruh! They're just a bunch of A-ranked Taanji, and you fucktard are a god damn DPS! Want me to crush your nutsack, cunt!?"

"Fine!"

Looks like things aren't going well on the other side.

*Sigh…*

A deep breath blow from his mouth as he tightens the grab on his spear.

"You know, I'm kinda curious about this S rank and A rank that they're talking about," Hada said to us, the ones inside Revian's room.

"Hmm… how do you think they ranked Uhndak and all we've been fighting before?" I asked him.

"Probably the lowest, though I dunno what alphabet it is…" He replied.

"Probably F, that's the lowest grade we can get up there above the clouds."

Before we knew it, Chiya was already sitting comfortably among us. The four of us royalties were shocked by the way we aren't able to realize she's coming here.

Is this some kind of dark magic? I mean I know they're prominent at stealth, but I didn't expect to this kind of degree. Especially with me and Anna who can easily detect heat.

"Chiya… when I saw your bio before, I realized you're… kind of a lot older than us, do you have a college degree before coming here?" I asked, usually I'll avoid bringing a lady's age to the topic, but since it's Chiya…

"Of course! I major in secret trading~" She replied with a calm smile of someone who just woke up.

*Roar!*

All of a sudden, the sound of wild beasts screeched loudly in the air. The five of us then stopped, to see through the sides of this room's windows.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of Taanji ran towards us. They have a look of a ferocious tiger with a body of a fully fed hyenas and a speed of a hungry cheetah.

Like all Chaos Taanji, their furs are charcoal black, and their eyes are maroon red. They breathe chaos and their saliva splattered the ground, clearing its landing spot from the toxic blue liquid made by [Toxic Garden].

"For Angel's sake, those fuckers… can't even handle small fry like these…"

Sir Asger then vigorously spun his spear, absorbing energies from the dead animal and Taanji caused by the [Toxic Garden] to its shaft.

An ominous toxic green aura gathered around it, coated the spear with power. Sir Asger suddenly stopped and held his weapon high. His ability was overwhelming, it felt as if time just standing still when he began casting, a complete silence.

[Toxic Technique]

[5th Level]

"(Spear Lake)"

"Dhanu Sularoa…"

*Tang!*

With no effort, he smashes the bottom of his spear to the floor of where he stood.

And tons of giant spears rose from the ground, striking at the speed of light, thrusting their sharp yet huge head at those nasty monsters' bodies.

In a blink of an eye, all of the thread perished. Our surroundings which flooded with toxic fluids are now filled with black and green spears each the size of standing Revian, and monsters that began to melt with the ground.

"They'll never become a Champion if they can't even handle weak shits like these…"

I can hear the sigh of Sir Asger, being disappointed with whoever he was talking to on the other side.

I don't know about his standards but, to us Archstudents, his power is far beyond even our wildest dream.
