Chapter 4

Part 1:

The teacher told us to introduce ourselves one by one in front.

"Alright, starting from the back"

Teacher Aeizelle pointed at me.

So I'm the first to introduce huh.

Haaa, After I sigh, I walk upfront of the class, and bowed at 45°.

"Good Morning! My name is Sid Kroul 5 years old, It's nice to meet you all!"

I look up, and see their eyes terrified, am I scary?

Maybe because I'm the son of late Sword God? No I didn't tell them that I am.

-----After all the introduction-----

"Alright now then let's start our first lesson, ~A FIRE MAGIC~"

A magic lesson, Now i can learn magic to get stronger, reading isn't enough I'm going to practice it.

According to the book:

To do magic you have to do a chanting, I'm not gonna mention the words, but you can do it without chanting, just memorize the chant then you can use it anytime.

"Alright now then let's try it, All of you follow the chant"

"Oh spirit of fire--" -students

We started to chant.

All of us succeeded at creating a fire, just like a candle fire, All of us did it but there's a size in difference.

I created a small one, looks like my mana wasn't that much.

-----Afternoon-----

After the classes, I feel exhausted because all we do is to just chant some magic all the way till the classes end.

It feels like my Mana got drained.

I want to sleep~~

"Yo, Sid Kroul"

Huh? Asie?

"Wh- what you want?"

He wants to discuss something with me? Or what else.

"Nothing, just happened to meet you in the hallway, ya going home?"

"Ye- yeah"

If you don't have any business with me please leave me alone, I feel sleepy, i want to go home.

"You look tired huh, Anyway see ya tomorrow"

*Sigh, I thought it's gonna be a long conversation.

And that i walk alone till i get home, my tiredness doubled.

"I'm back Shylia" *yawn

"Welcome back Master Kroul"

I head to my bedroom and take a nap..

"Master Kroul, Dinner is ready"

Huh? Oh i forgot i haven't eaten yet.

"C- coming"

"Okay"

Part 2:

-----tomorrow-----

*Yawn, another day, I feel like school wasn't fun at all.

At the room...

"Today's lesson is ~WIND MAGIC~, to do this we need to chant, please open your book at page---"

'My mana will get drained again.'

And after that lesson my mana got almost drain again, I learned a lot of wind magic types.

Wind Magic takes a lot of mana so this magic is not suitable for me with a low mana capacity.

I feel like I'm the only one in the class with the lowest mana capacity, tsk.

I walk back home, again.

*Door open

"Shylia I- I'm home"

"Ohh? Welcome home Master Kroul"

Oh? There's another person?

"Looks like you grownups so well, Sid Kroul"

"Haa! A- Azul- No, Master Azulphe?"

Why is he here?

"I'm just here to say something to you"

"What is it? Master Azulphe?"

"I'm going out for a journey, please don't go back to Oblivion City, this is a serious advice"

"Wha- what you mean?"

"Just follow my advice, I'll meet you somewhere again"

"Ye- yes Master Azulphe"

Then that, Azulphe vanished in the thin air, I have no idea why he don't want me to go back but I'll follow it, just in case.

"By the way, welcome back Master Kroul" Shylia bowed at me.

"Ah- yes is dinner ready?"

"Yes it's on the table, Master Kroul"

*Sigh, after eating dinner I head to my bedroom and get some sleep.

Tomorrow my Mana is going to get drained again.

*Yawn, I feel bored.

"Alright, today is a free day, you can do what you want, you can go around the campus, please enjoy this moment" -Aeizelle

*Sigh, finally i can rest, It's just 1 day though but still I'll take it for granted.

Everyone head outside with a happy smiles, I wish I could smile too but I'm tired I can't smile a little.

Only I and teach Aeizelle left in the classroom.

I raised my hand.

"Huh? What is it Kroul? Aren't you go outside?"

"Uh- uhmm teacher? Can I head home, it's free day anyway"

Please, I want to sleep.

"Sorry, but I can't let you"

"Can i sleep here then?"

"As i said, do what you want, everything"

"Y- yes"

*Sigh, I guess I'll sleep here then.

The door opened, it's a single person, this person entered the classroom.

"Uhm teacher Aeizelle, is Sid Kroul happened to be here?"

"Oh? Yes he's over there sleeping"

"Thank you very much"

I can hear there's a person looking for me, what a mess i want to have some rest.

"Yo yo, Sid Kroul, got a time?"

"~im trying to sleep please leave me alone~"

"But i want you to train with me using sword"

The word sword echoes inside my mind.

I look up.

"Oh? Asie? Why are you here"

"Let's train some sword art with me are good with that?"

"I- I'LL GO"

Part 3:

Whenever i hear sword art, my energy refills not my Mana though.

After that we head at the training hall, it use for sword training and Martial Arts training.

I didn't imagine they have a sword training too, even though this capital is full of magicians or wizards.

"Alright, Sid catch!"

Asie throw a wooden sword at me.

I didn't catch it and hit straight to my face.

"Awwh that hurts"

"Oh sorry"

This wooden sword is pretty heavy, I'm not able to swing this, I can but it's heavy.

"Uhm, Asie right?"

"Yes?"

"Can we use stick instead of this? It's heavy for me"

He scratched his head and look in the storage where the weapon is.

"Uhmm let see, what about this?"

He bring out a kali stick.

"This fine right, i bet you can swing this easily"

He throw me the stick, and I catch it.

This is surprisingly light than what i ever imagined.

"This is fine"

"Then shall we begin the practice?"

Alright let's see if my hardwork training will pay off, but I only practice by swinging a stick around, I don't have any experience in a real 1 versus 1 fight.

"Alright here I comes"
