After Marceline informed the other Angels about what the Beetles inside the spaceship had discussed, Ezequiel felt a wave of relief. With another two months before the Beetle in the Golden Core Realm was contacted again, the chances of avoiding an encounter with someone in the Nascent Soul Realm seemed possible.
For precautionary reasons, Ezequiel instructed the Angel of Darkness to continue monitoring the situation and report any changes. However, he wasn't too concerned. Just eight more months and he would likely reach the Lesser God Realm, enabling him to upgrade the world's level.
At that point, the odds of anyone in the galaxy being able to find them would be slim. He could then grow in power until no one could challenge him. Whenever he met enemies he couldn't beat he would simply move the location of his world to a safer spot.
