Amanda Smith thought for a moment, then asked, "Do you still remember what happened in elementary school?"
"Which incident?"
"When you fought with someone else and then got pinned down on the playground by an older student and thrashed..."
"..." Samuel Johnson's eyes widened slightly in disbelief as he looked at her, then he shook his head seriously, "I don't remember."
How could he possibly remember such an embarrassing incident?
"Oh..."
Amanda nodded her head, "I also think you probably wouldn't remember."
"What's going on, anyway?"
"It's nothing... I just accidentally dreamt about that time," Amanda said with a smile, "It's no big deal."
"You dreamt of me getting beaten up?" Samuel Johnson's eyes widened, "Why would you dream about such a thing..."
Amanda didn't say anything; she just looked at Samuel and smiled gently.
Some vows are better off forgotten.
If he didn't remember, then it might as well be forgotten altogether.
After all... it could never come true now.
