Chapter 190: I Didn't Expect You to Have a Day Like This

Samuel Johnson yanked the blanket over himself and said, "So annoying, get out, I want to sleep!"

Mrs. Johnson helplessly watched as he wrapped himself up tightly, leaving only one leg hanging out. She stepped forward to tuck in the blanket then went outside to give detailed instructions to the nurse before reluctantly leaving.

As soon as Mrs. Johnson left, Samuel Johnson immediately wriggled out of the blankets. The more he thought about it, the unhappier he became. Struggling, he reached for his jacket, took out his phone, and called Amanda Smith.

After a while, the call was answered, and Amanda's drowsy voice came through, "Hello?"

Hearing her voice, Samuel righteously asked, "Why didn't you come over?"

The person on the other end paused briefly before answering languidly, "No reason."
