Seo-yeon hesitated, her lower lip caught between her teeth. Leaving the light soldiers behind felt wrong, but Ji-Hoon's unwavering confidence calmed some of her worry. She finally gave a small nod, "Alright, but we need to be quick."

Ji-Hoon smiled, the gesture warm and reassuring. "Exactly. Here," he pointed towards the hallway, "Let's see if the upper floors offer better shelter."

They began to walk down the hall, the echoing silence seemed to amplify the creak of their footsteps. Seo-yeon couldn't help but glance around, looking around the devastation. Doors hung from broken hinges, walls were filled with cracks, and dust could be seen in the faint moonlight filtering through the windows.

"Wow," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Everything is destroyed."

"Yeah," Ji-Hoon replied, his voice equally hushed. "Looks like there was a real brawl here. Must've been a pretty desperate fight to leave the place looking like this."
