At this moment, the three of them had realized the gravity of the impending situation. 

They truly were fools to believe that reasoning with other species, who shared equal intelligence with them, would work.

Moreover, killing the enemy provided a chance for immortality. If anyone genuinely believed in the harmony between highly intelligent species, they were indeed stupid.

The reason why aliens hadn't annihilated humanity to claim the supreme throne was simply because they lacked the strength to do so.

The universe was continuously expanding, and even if they moved at their maximum speed, it was impossible to proactively reach every corner. Only those above could drive this battle for supremacy.

Humanity, though divided by race, was still human at its core. 

But as for these alien species, they bore no resemblance to humanity at all - what could they possibly use to empathize with them?

"This is incredibly dangerous, it's an extinction-level catastrophe." Long Wei remarked with a sigh.

A war between species, with tens of billions of soldiers. The very thought of it was enough to send shivers down one's spine.

Even if you added up all the fallen soldiers in human history, it wouldn't compare to the magnitude of this war.

But unlike Long Wei, our emperor was truly different. He laughed heartily and said:

"Ha ha ha, what nonsense are you talking about? From now on, never say such things again. This is not some disaster, it is an opportunity. An opportunity to let other species know that humanity is the true supreme race!"

His eyes seemed to blaze with fire - not born from arrogance, but from the supreme will of humanity. An indomitable spirit that can forever rule the universe.

"Ha ha ha, that's more like it! We humans will never lose to those temporary dwellers, preparing to be the stepping stone for us, you bunch of weaklings!" Xue Lian enthusiastically echoed.

Compassion? That's only reserved for humanity. In this war, it's kill or be killed. 

Resources and territories? They're meaningless trash. The side that can drive the other to extinction will be the victor.

"By the way, does it work the same if humans kill each other? According to what you said, we only need to kill high-level beings, right?" Lei Feng frowned as he spoke.

He suddenly realized the severity of this issue. Xi Emperor wasn't just the supreme ruler of China, was he? 

Of course not, his scope was far broader. He will the supreme leader of humanity, and China was just his first step.

"If humanity goes insane and starts slaughtering each other, it wouldn't be good at all. That would just give the enemy an opportunity to ambush us." Lei Feng commented.

Azeroth simply laughed, shaking his head as he replied:

"Members of the same race cannot absorb the star of their kin. Killing your own kind won't grant you any star."

Lei Feng nodded but then frowned as a thought crossed his mind. He had discovered a loophole and asked:

"So what if one traps their kin and lets the enemy kill them, then makes a trade afterward?"

"Haha, you're underestimating those above." Azeroth replied. 

"It's impossible to deceive them like that. Of course, such acts are permitted, but at higher levels, it becomes impossible. The conditions for advancing later on - well, you'll learn about them eventually. By then, you'll understand that trying to exploit this would only lead to being hunted down by both species."

Hearing Azeroth's explanation, Lei Feng felt more at ease. 

He didn't fully understand the leveling system yet, but he knew it would prevent excessive exploitation.

"It seems that those above have arranged things properly. Only the truly worthy can reach the end." Lei Feng mused.

"Haha, exactly! It's much more interesting that way. Later, I'll crush all those people beneath me and use them as my stepping stones. I will become the strongest!" Xue Lian laughed.

When it came to fighting, she enjoyed it even more than the others.

Under normal conditions on Earth, female warriors at the peak couldn't match male warriors at the peak in one-on-one combat.

But now things were different. Here, everyone was equal power at beginning. 

Lei Feng aimed to be emperor, while she wanted to become the strongest of them all.

Lei Feng was deep in thought, calculating something. The others noticed this and remained silent, observing his next move.

"We'll move slower this time, carefully observing our surroundings. Pay close attention to any signs of shock or disturbance. We must find them before they find us. And remember, move quietly - there's no need for unnecessary noise. Our priority is to ambush, not to attack head-on."

Seeing Xue Lian's displeased expression, Lei Feng already knew the reason and added:

"Don't worry. Right now, we need to develop ourselves as much as possible. The truly strong won't die easily, while the weak should be eliminated as quickly as possible."

Hearing this, she nodded, her mood improving a little. She replied:

"Alright, although I don't like sneaking around, if it means killing the weak quickly, I can accept it for now. But if I come across someone strong, I will definitely fight them one-on-one."

"Fine, as long as you're happy." Lei Feng nodded in response.

Anyway, maintaining the unity of an organization is a difficult and strange task. 

That's why no one teaches you how to be an emperor, and there's no such thing as an emperor's degree.

The group of four continued moving forward, constantly watching for footprints and any unusual signs in the forest.

Lei Feng understood that very few people would actively erase their tracks because they didn't yet understand the current situation. 

The one and only bug in the world had fortunately fallen into their hands, giving them an early advantage.

However, this bug didn't offer any major benefits. Sooner or later, everyone would learn about this information.

After a few more hours of travel, Xue Lian signaled for the group to stop.

"Look at this tree! There are noticeably fewer fruits on it, and around here, you can see the trampled marks of numerous creatures." she pointed out. 

The other three glanced around, carefully examining the area. Even though Azeroth belonged to a neutral faction due to his mission, he was still here to assist humanity, so he would certainly give it his all.

"In my opinion, there's a high chance someone is in that direction. Whether it's humans or another species, though, I'm not sure." Azeroth remarked.

Long Wei nodded in agreement:

"Indeed, it's better to approach cautiously."

"Be cautious, yes, but don't be afraid. Humanity is the true supreme race - how could we lose to a bunch of weaklings?" Lei Feng declared with pride.

It wasn't that he was overconfident to the point of stupidity. It was a matter of spirit. If no one had the willpower, how could they accomplish anything great?

"Let's go, let's go. I know that, and I'm not some coward either. Let's hurry and track them down. If we find them, we'll quickly figure out how to deal with the situation." Xue Lian said, her voice full of anticipation.
