Diana's P. O. V

Damn it! West didn't pick up, and the period was already almost over. Stress lines formed on my forehead, too many things had occupied my mind.

I went back into the class, the last group had finished presenting, that meant it was time for West and I to present.

"He isn't here yet?." Miss Mandeleeya asked, "I called but he didn't answer." I said, she didn't think twice before telling me that we failed the project. After she said that, she dismissed me to my seat, I was damn upset because of this. Once class ended, and everyone flocked out, I waited behind to speak to her.

"You can't really fail me right?." I asked, "of course I can. And I did." She said, maintaining her peachy smile.

"But it isn't fair to blame me for West not coming to school today. Maybe he had an emergency...or someone died...or..."

Someone died? West was coughing a lot at my house yesterday, and prolonged coughing is a sign of lung cancer.
