talented thief

lei xi thought he had just did someone a favor so he now wanted to see who he had just saved from a six-clack serpent. when he turned back behold it was someone he fully recognized.

he had seen her once when she bumped in him, only a glance at her and he was till today still looking for her. he felt different emotions cross him .

he felt proud for what he had just done, he had saved her life and killed a six-clack serpent within just a few seconds, and out of blind generosity he had given her the gear without even knowing who she was .

but he also felt guilty about startling her like that. and one thing was that he felt shy around her .

he expected to hear something like a ' thank you ' or something more as her starred at her from a distance gazing directly on her eyes.

" you mustered it !" she said.

" yes in just less than five seconds am I not a genius? ' he thought but was too shy to say.

" you murdered little shapeshifter! , "

" little what?". he was surprised that she was calling such a huge scary creature ' little shapeshifter' he thought only a crazy person would do that .

" you're a monster, that poor little thing , you just killed it for nothing". Quingtan was getting angry.

" but it was ... it was a monster and it'd probably have eaten you. ".

" no it wouldn't have , and you know why,. cause it's not you ". Quingtan was getting really mad and she realized within a few seconds her cold goddess form would be taking a swing on her again. she took out a bottle from he pocket, opened it and swallowed the content in one gulp. " I wish dad was here, he'd have kicked your ass for such an unpleasant behavior". Quingtan said.

" come on,. stop being such a daddy's girl, that creature could never be a friend, I mean it wasn't even tamed . ". lei xi was really confused here.

" no, you're the daddy's girl, monster!" she was furious now and she knew a few more words from him, even her medicine wouldn't be enough to hold her back . she turned around walking back home with a much quicker pace.

" ok fine I'm sorry,. .. hey ... I'm sorry ok !" lei xi felt very guilty about this .

Quingtan didn't reply but kept on walking back.

after a few times of shouting out I'm sorry lei xi realized she was gone and his guards were all starring at him hopelessly trying to please a girl . " hey what are you looking at .

it was hard for the guard to hold back their laughter

after Lin Jin tipped the man he just bought cake from he headed straight for home, he was coming from the mines and the cakes were for Quingtan. it was already dark at night but still the streets of sky shelter was crowded, it was mainly in the night hours people from other shelters in Quinyang town would visit sky shelter for marketing purposes.

Lin Jin strolled round the town waving to people he knew and those he didn't. he was having a happy day, Quingtan had given him lots of cold yin pearls which cold goddess had given her, now with these he could go hunting with no fear. before when he used the cold yin pearls, he didn't use them to thier full potential since he was too weak to fully absorb them.

but now he was at his ninth clack, though he was not at ten clacks which was the required stage to absorb yin Pearl, at the least he could now use fifty percent of the power of the yin pearls.

he dipped his hands in his pocket bringing oit with it a bag the size of his two palms curved together of yin pearls which Quingtan had given him. though they were contained in a thick bag they still glowed out.

" oh f*ck he carries the yin pearls along with him, who does that? , maybe I should just take a few from him, that wouldn't hurt, but grandmaster could get mad at me for that. .. wait who needs grand master, if I could get one of those I could get so rich, I could build my own martial or even a king Fu club, but grandmaster said he had evolved greatly that'll be great trouble for me, I'll have to use the transparent technique and that could cause me a lot of energy." yang manli felt the urge to go out and steal the yin pearls from Lin Jin

he untied it revealing shiny round pearls the size of an eyeball. after a brief look he sealed the bag and put it back on his pocket. he was now out of the public areas and was now walking through a lonely path.

" what is that?" he looked around him as he got an odd feeling that he was being followed. he was already on his ninth clack, he could sense things a normal human could see coming.

he quickened his pace looking round suspiciously, he turned left , right back and when he turned facing his front he saw someone on a hood in front of him.

with a clenched fist he threw forward his hands . the person did the same with accurately.

whoever it was on a hood seemed far weaker than Lin Jin as the ladder was blasted backwards and Lin Jin standing his ground . " you're this weak and you still go out harassing people huh. ". Lin Jin was surprised as to how weak this burger was. but he was now sure of one thing. whoever it was, it probably would be a woman as he noticed the feminine structure And the long hair of the person.

when this so-called person landed on the ground she somehow turned invisible. he could no longer see her. " oh I get it, you're not afraid cause you have camouflaged powers huh. though the person was now invisible, he could still sense where she was.

" wait a minute, where's my ? oh so you stole it that's why you're running.". Lin Jin realized the moment he turned around when he saw the person for the first time, she had already taken his yin pearls. " come back here !!" Lin Jin chased after this thief with all he had.

this person was really fast but not any where as fast as Lin Jin, within a few seconds he was already behind her. though he couldn't see her he could sense where she was.

Lin Jin felt catching this person seemed easy not until he saw an arrow flying at him . the arrow was pretty slow to him though, he stretched hi hands and caught the arrow a few inches away from piercing his eyes. he pulled it back ready to throw it away. boom...

the arrow exploded immediately causing him to fall back a little. " seems you've got some good tricks there. ". Lin Jin got back on chasing this thief but found more and more arrows coming for his chest. " the arrow and camouflaging technique are quite impressive maybe when I get her I could force her to teach me.". Lin Jin wanted these skills and as a compensation for his stress he was going to force whoever it was to give it to him.

he activated his amor to hold back the explosion from the arrows, his amor was already ten clacks and it was pretty strong. with just a glance he knew whoever this was, she was no more than seven or eight clacks. his amor could pretty well hold attacks from such a foe.

now from where the thief was a creature that looked like a wolf but with fur that looked metallic was now running at him from his front. " who are you " though the person wanted him to think she had turned into a wolf, he could still sense the person running in another direction and a wolf coming at him. this made no sense cause this creature seemed to be a pet gear which someone could summon to fight for them. but a pet creature was nearly as rear as a yin Pearl . now he realized whoever this was, it wasn't the normal street thief, this was someone prominent .

the speed of the pet was no greater than that of a five clack creature. though it wasn't strong, it was a treasure. this person hadn't sent the pet gear to fight him but to distract him as she ran away, but even this truck didn't work on Lin Jin. he ran straight to the pet gear and at close proximity he threw a punch directly at its neck.

this bounced the creature a few meters forward but didn't kill it. he had purposely left it alive cause he wanted it for himself. he ran toward the now unconscious pet and picked it off the ground .

after having the pet on his hands he ran towards the thief with much more speed.

after a few seconds he was a bit closer to the thief now, but the thief seemed to get slower now. it seemed this skill was draining her badly. he summoned his fire dagger aimed at the thief and with precise force, he threw it forward.

the dagger found its target on her right leg whilst it was about to touch the ground. this led to the person falling down with a wound on the leg. on the visible side the knife was only hanging on the air till a lady appeared there with the life stuck in her leg.

" got you now , so tell me who are you ?". Lin Jin walked up to the thief with a cocky look on his face.

" well, somebody who knows you're carrying a bag of yin pearls which even the Deen of the shelter shouldn't. ". she said with no fear.

" I see you want to act bold ugh. .. well it seems you have a good skill there and I'd like to see them ". Lin Jin requested.

" you'd have to kill me to get that.".

" but if I kill you how do I get it,. and by the way I'm gonna keep the pet. ". Lin Jin said .

" no way ". the girl said as the pet vanished with a puff of light from Lin jin's hands .

though Lin Jin had taken up the pet, she was the one who owned the gear and it would remain loyal to her till she gave it off to him or anyone else.

Lin Jin felt bad about this but it seemed this person was good at keeping their mouth shut and their arms raped up tight. " what if we trade, the pet and those skills for one yin Pearl " Lin Jin wanted these things badly.

" the skills belong to a club giving them to you would take down it's honor , the pet was assigned to me, giving it to you would mean my life.". the lady said.

" damn ! ". Lin Jin was disappointed.

" but we could still trade other things though , like I'm a prominent member of my club and I could use my status to get you in ". she felt she had banged a great deal since no one in their sane mind would reject an offer Into a club.

" no that's not what I want, hmm how about this , are you going to participate in the up coming bout ? "

" no, I'm not interested in fighting for some damn recommendation from a Kaiju " she said with absolute boldness .

" good, how about we team up huh ? I need a partner and you seem kinda skillful so you're gonna be there " Lin Jin said.

" and what would be my reward?" she knew she was far weaker than Lin Jin, trying to take his pearls by force would be a futile endeavor, she had to make a deal.

" well you'll get a yin Pearl for that.". Lin Jin said.

" ok". she agreed instantly, she had seen shelters go into war just for yin pearls, just joining a bout for one would be one in many lifetime opportunity.

" and what's your name by the way?" Lin Jin was curious.

" yang manli from Aeirs martial Club" she replied.

" good now hand me back the yin pearls " Lin Jin said stretching out his hand with a open palm.

yang manli handed him the bag of yin pearls she had stolen from him with a glare .

" and the rest ?". Lin Jin said still stretching out his hand. yang manli looked angered but she still deepped her hand in her bringing out there shiny pearls on it.

she handed them over to Lin Jin. " you know I can still tell there are two more with you ". Lin Jin said. he was now in his ninth clack, he could sense the pearls on her without even seeing them.

with a loud grunt yang manli handed two more pearls over to him.

now Lin Jin took back his hands knowing she had now given him all the pearls.
