And So it Begins (2)

**WARNING- Will be a little gruesome**

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the front of the library, Jeremy and the Muscle were still standing there, waiting for their comrade to bring back their sniveling prey. More than 17 minutes had passed before Jeremy began getting angry, like the toddler he mentally is.

"What the f*ck is taking [the ginger] so long?! Does it really take that long to get that weak bast*rd? seriously?! You go get hi-" Before Jeremy could finish his statement, red lightning flashed against the sky and the lights all around them flickered before going out. The only source of light now was the crystal dome above their heads and the red lightning going off sporadically. Both boys looked up confused. They never had the power fail on them before and the color of the lightning was very off-putting. When had lightning ever been red? Wait… What's up with that smell? Why does it smell like feces and iron?

Again, the lightning flashed and as the light was slowly waning, the two boys saw something that made their stomachs want to turn inside out. Right before their very eyes ways the ginger boy standing before them with no arms or eyes. Blood was water falling from his shoulders as he hobbled towards Jeremy and Muscles. His mouth was hanging open showing an empty cavern, almost like his jaws and tongue were ripped directly from his face. The poor ginger boy was trying his best to call for his master, Jeremy, but Jeremy hid behind Muscles in fear and disgust. Muscles, of course, wanted to hide as well but as his master had hidden behind him, he knew that he must protect. Unfortunately, those who work with evil, are bound to face the backlash of evil.

Muscles ran at full force to punch the ginger in what used to be an average face when suddenly, the ginger's face began to liquify into blackness. It was too late for Muscle's bulky body to slow down. The dark putty-like face of the ginger boy wrapped itself around Muscle's fist, absorbing it into the nothingness. Red lightning flashed. Muscles tried to let out a scream, but the blackness coiled his face until only his bulging eyes could be seen. Crimson light flickered as Muscles was completely engulfed in the void like goo of 'the ginger's' face. Jeremy was terrified, so much so that he sh*t himself were he stood. Deciding it would be best to get as far away from that place as possible, Jeremy slowly began backing up towards the exit of the library. At this moment, beating the living daylights out of Kei was nowhere near his thoughts. He only wanted to live. So what if his companions had died? Their families were nowhere as rich and important as his! That is why he didn't even bother remembering their names. If the 'Muscles' and 'the ginger' would have heard his thoughts, their ghosts would have surely haunted him to hell. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for Jeremy, their souls had been swallowed by the void, becoming one with the nothingness.

Jeremy had reached the doors and swung them open as fast as he could. He was free to escape the monsters! He would tell everyone and get his parents to sue the school for emotional damages as soon as he got back to his dorm! However, that was not Jeremy's fate. Jeremy had to be punished for his misdeeds and so when he opened the door, instead of seeing outside, Jeremy was looking back into the library. And in the library was a hound like create made of black smoke standing before him. Jeremy was shocked, confused, scared, and horrified. A hot breath whispered silent words into his ears and Jeremy looked behind him to see the putty-like creature morph into another black smoke hound. He was surrounded by the library and these hounds. He was going to die and as the fear of death soaked his pissy britches, the two hounds lunged at him, ripping at his arms and legs. Mauling his face until it could not even be considered human. The pain was so brutal that Jeremy wished for the sweet release of death, but it never came.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It had been a while since Kei had heard footsteps or taunting of any kind but he did not dare come out in fear that it was a ruse for his three tormentors to jump him. He continued to sit there for a good twenty minutes until his legs began to cramp. Was this really a ruse or did they get bored and leave? It was most likely the second', reasoned Kei, as Jeremy was nowhere near patience. Peaking out Kei was shocked to find the ginger boy sprawled out on the ground with foam coming out of his mouth. His eyes were glazed over with a pale blue film. Kei was immediately reminded of the fish that he had seen at the grocery stores (who knew how long those had been dead). Kei quickly scrabbled towards the red head's body. There was no pulse. Why was there no pulse? How did he die while looking for him!? Kei quickly stood up and ran towards the door. On the way, he saw the buff student in the same state. How? Why were both of them the dead in the same way? Kei was expecting to see Jeremy in the same way, but there was nobody for him. There was no sign that Jeremy had even been there.

Even though he knew that it was wrong to feel this way, Kei had really wished to see Jeremy, too, dead and fish-eyed in the library entrance. Kei immediately felt disgusted with himself. Was he evil for thinking like that? Was he just as bad as Jeremy? No, He was a good person. At least better than Jeremy. Anyone and everyone was better than Jeremy, at least, that was what Kei thought. He didn't know just how wrong he was.

Kei quickly left the scene, hoping to not be affiliated with the sudden deaths of his peers. As he ran away, the crimson lightning hit the crystal dome, shattering it and setting the entire building on fire. In an instant, only raging flames could be seen, but if you look closely enough you could see three black hound shadows converging with a 7-foot shadow. After the four became one, the tall human-shaped shadow cocked its head and stared into the direction that Kei had run towards.
