I Am Not The Father

"Listen kid, I am a jackass, an asshole, a mini tyrant, a fanboy, but never a father."

How I got here is a mystery to me.

Me? It just so happens that I am a multi-billionaire, but other than that, I am just an ordinary bossman.

My name is Kaiser Elliot Asquith, and I am a businessman.

Kaiser was given to me by a nun who took care of me when I was being fostered in a Catholic orphanage. Later on, I was adopted by a wealthy family and acquired Elliot.

My upbringing was... different from the norm. As a result of being spoiled by my wealthy adoptive family, I developed certain sadistic tendencies as a kid.

I called them Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Raymond, an Earl from a Royal British family.

From them, I inherited the titles of Earl of Oxford and Asquith. And yet, becoming a member of the Royal Family was one of the decisions I've really regretted making. Everyone in the "Foundation" is compromised; not a single one of them is complete without sin.

It's a shame I found out too late. The loss of my love struck me like a ton of bricks, and I eventually severed ties with the royal family and gave up my inheritance and title.

On the subject of cruelty, however, they were correct. After fifteen years in the military, I realized that if I wasn't vicious and ruthless, I had no chance of rising to the top. Where the power lies in the shadows.

Espionage, assassinations, etc. I buried the memory of my dead lover as deeply as I could. For everything that I accomplished, I was offered the position of general and publicly declined, setting up a global uproar.

Later, I left the military to start a successful company and eventually joined the exclusive top 1%. But it wasn't good enough; I had ties to the royal family that wouldn't be severed, and the "Foundation" follows you wherever you go.

When my thoughts returned to the sweet little kid, I found myself smiling.

"What's your name, kid?" I questioned the girl who had made her way alone to the private parking lot behind my office.

"Diana,"

I instantly felt my chest constricted, and the word "Diana" brought back a flood of memories. Positive and negative examples alike.

Princess Diana, the wife of Prince Charles, the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth.

Before you say anything, listen!

Back when I was... younger. It was there that I had the pleasure of meeting Princess Diana. She was as beautiful in person as she seemed in the photos, but I knew better than to develop a crush on a married lady, much less the princess of the land.

But… We dated. We had an illicit romance in private. I can't claim I haven't taken advantage of her since she discovered her husband cheating on her with the housekeeper.

This in no way negates the fact that I loved her; we bonded intensely after meeting at a tea party. My childish fantasy of ruling a kingdom, and my secret obsession over anime, it was a goofy friendship.

She was devastated by the news of her husband's adultery, and after some wine and tears, we became a "thing," as the kids say.

As the little child cuddled up against my palm, I caressed her sweet little head.

Daina's feelings for me were instantaneous, and Prince Charles seemed to be aware of this, although saying nothing. The Royal Family treated it as though it were an open secret.

Daina is a rebel at heart who is too kind for her own good and who will fight for what she thinks is right.

What caused her death was that very thing, dammit!

"Papa, what would you do if you had the opportunity to visit any planet you liked?"

I groaned; I told the tiny chipmunk more times than I could count that I was not her father, but she just won't listen.

"If I were to be really honest, I would strive to conquer the planet... Haha." I was joking, but it wasn't really a joke; since my early twenties, I've had a desire to become the ruler.

The child's giggling made me turn to her and ask, "Now Diana, where is mom?"

A gorgeous lady, her makeup ruined by tears and followed by guards (speaking of a devil), rushed up to Diana and gave her a big embrace. I was caught off guard since everything happened so quickly.

'It was a strange day,' I thought to myself when I got home.

Leaning back on the sofa in the comfort of my own house was so soothing that I nearly forgot about the card the young girl had given me.

I took the folded card that the young girl had given me and unfolded it.

On the right side of the page, I noticed images of the Avengers, X-Men, MARVEL, and some very lovely text.

In what way did she determine that I am a fan of Marvel Comics? Even though Gilgamesh is my favorite of the Fate series, I didn't really like the rest of the books.

In fact, I first became interested in the Fate series because I found amusing a gif of Gilgamesh in the clouds with his noble phantasm, proclaiming, "Mongrel!"

So cool!

[𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐞?]

I found the kid's creativity amusing, so I decided to indulge it by writing.

[Gate of Babylon, A System, finally power to redo everything]

The most logical option was Babylon's Gate. It would be a slap in the face as a fan of Gilgamesh not to have his special ability. I don't care if my wish was squandered.

The second most apparent option was "system." Reading fanfiction about individuals who were reborn with Gilgamesh's abilities gave me an idea of just how powerful a system user may be. Even if I despise all the fanfiction that turns Gilgamesh into a pathetic wimp.

Now, at long last, the ability to undo... is personal. You don't appreciate anything until it's gone, and once it's gone, it's gone forever.

The only kind of grief that can really destroy you is the regret you feel for the more time you want to spend with someone like Diana, and I feel that remorse. I wish I could go back in time and rescue her or at least spend more time with her.

I could ask for the ability to resurrect the dead, but I am too afraid for her to witness the monster I have become. She has a wonderful new life, and I would never want to disrupt it. With her generous spirit, she must be in paradise or at least happy with her existence.

The media dubbed me a "mini-tyrant" for my controlling personality. I cared not that I had destroyed many lives in my pursuit of wealth, prestige, and influence. I was pretty open. If I could go back in time, I'd do it all over again.

While clearing my mind of unnecessary details, I caught a glimpse of my maid waiting for me, her maid's uniform unfastened and her large breasts exposed.

A/N: Now, this is just fanfiction. I don't want Princess Diana's followers to start causing trouble for me.

I don't know whether it was true or not, but there were many articles saying she cheated on her husband, as her husband cheated on her. It was kind of like an open marriage.

This fanfic was a project of mine that I started before my DXD fanfic and worked on & off. I know I say that in every fanfic I have written, but it's true. I have three other fanfic which has at least 20-30 chapters I've written during my summer vacation; Elden Ring, DC, ATG, and Original story.

This might be multiverse fanfic, but not decided yet, with smut and obviously a harem.

I am trying to make my MC a tyrant, similar to Gilgamesh, but not his perfect character, as I am not talented enough to portray him perfectly.

And before getting your hopes up, the answer is NO. MC will not be going into Fate since I believe his favorability towards Gilgamesh and personality will turn him into a massive simp. It is neither fun to write that nor fun to read. And they both are two butt-heads.

But I am open for readers to change my mind.

Caution ahead, as there will be many controversial topics, such as racism, and sexism, either spoken by him or present in this fanfic. I will never endorse any of these; this is just fiction.
