<Annie POV>

When they entered the wall, Titans followed them, because of her.

As they entered, Annie saw... She saw the guy that got eaten with a despairing look in his eyes. She saw how the guy tried his best to fight the gigantic hands that were squeezing him tight.

And then... their eyes meet.

She saw and felt the emotions that were conveyed in those eyes.

'Why won't you save me?'

'What did we do to deserve this?'

'What will you gain by killing us?'

'Why? Why?!'

Heugh!

Breathing out as she woke up, dreaming that torturous day they entered the walls.

They were just kids, not knowing what was right and wrong. They were given one mission. And it is to get the Founding Titan, Not knowing what's out there, and Not knowing who's out there.

Getting up again and washing her face with cold water.

Annie gets ready cause...

It is another mission, As a soldier.

Riding a horse with everyone. Annie looks in front of her and sees everyone's tired expression, except for...

She looks behind her, seeing Leo who's looking at the deserted plain. He might feel that someone is looking at him, as he looks exactly in her direction.

He nodded, as a sign of greetings and Annie nodded back too, in response to his greetings.

Setting up a camp in the forest. Thomas, their leader this time, began to list out things to do. "It is almost nighttime, we need food and sticks to light up"

"I hunt for food. I'm great at hunting and finding food"

Annie saw that Leo volunteered himself, so she decided to go with him for the sake of convenience, but...

Leo and Bertholt undo their belts and give the ODM gear to Daz...

Annie saw that Leo and Bertholt had left. And so she volunteered to pick sticks.

She said that and began to walk towards the forest to pick up sticks, before leaving her ODM gear behind.

Annie was all alone picking up sticks. While doing this, she began to think of a certain someone...

'Thankfully I'm not grouped with Jean, and at last, grouped with Leo. I should know more about him. I should be aware of him.'

Walking back towards the gathering...

Annie saw that everyone was in great dismay...

"Are you sure?"

Mikasa questioned Daz, and Daz answered.

"There's no doubt about it. This was where I put it. But, everything that we kept safe here..."

"And even Our ODM gear is gone..."

Everyone's ODM gear has gone.

"This is bad... without ODM gear, we're harmless'

"Over here"

Annie then began to survey the surroundings and saw a campfire. She then told everyone about it...

"They've been gone for quite a while."

"It's the same as what Leo has found over there," Mikasa said and questioned Reiner "How many people are involved?"

"Also, over here..."

Annie saw Leo appear and pointed at something...

'Carriages Tracks'

"It's probably a gang of thieves," Reiner said and continued. "It seems they found out where the weapons were placed, and stole them during the time we're gone"

"They gather ODM equipment and make black market deals."

"So we're being targeted?!"

"Even if we caught them in the act, we would have been helpless to stop them," Mikasa said while looking down the carriage tracks and footprints.

"You should probably be happy that you're still alive"

'She's right, but also wrong at the same time. With Leo here, no one can defeat him.

Annie thought that and looked at Leo who suggested everyone continue and tell Marco's group about it.

'He always has that calm expression of his, but deep down he worries a lot of things... he's almost like... me'

Night Time...

Annie began to look around for something to kill time.

And she stumbled upon this lake. She was entranced by the lake's clear clear-looking pure light it was giving off.

She looked around and saw Leo.

She then walked towards him and sat beside him. unconsciously.

Leo then noticed her. She looked at the lake and said to Leo...

"Isn't it beautiful"

She said that and pointed towards the lake. She waited for a second before Leo replied to her with...

"Yeah, it is beautiful. But I didn't expect Ice Queen is saying that"

Annie said in a weak tone" How can say that to a Weak lady like me? I can also enjoy nature like others."

Leo said with a smile" If you are a weak lady, then I should be the weakest man in this world"

Annie looked at Leo and saw him smile at her.

"Leo why do you want to join survey crops, you will die one day at the hands of the Titans."

Leo just laughed at her and said." I won't die easily, so don't worry about me ice queen,"

Annie said in a serious tone " what will you do if someone orders you to die."

"I Cannot die who Already Beyond Death"

Annie didn't understand his words.

"Annie it's okay if you are a bad Person. A bad person can still do good things for his/her sins."

Annie felt something in her heart when she heard his words. She will kill innocent people in the future but can she still do good things?

"Don't be the bad person doing good. Be a good person doing good things.

It's better that way."

His words made her heart light. Will she become a good person?

"Annie if you want help, I can help you."

Annie did not know or remember, where the last time she smiled so genuinely was. But now she notices that she can smile too, and it was very... genuine...

Annie looked at the lake and thought to herself.

'I admit it. If we were born in another world, I may already fall in love

Annie returns to her bed. As she lay down, she remembered the conversation she had with Leo.

" why are you bothering me?" Annie said with slight anger which made them flinch.

"*cough*Your recent actions say otherwise."Reiner gave a fake cough and said.

"Recent actions? I'm just doing what you're doing Reiner, I don't see a problem. Unless you want to elaborate on what you mean?" Annie said to Reiner and as Reiner was going to reply Berthodlt spoke up.

"You're getting close to Leo for our benefit, right Annie?"Berthold asked Annie nervously.

"And what do you mean by that Berthodlt? "Annie asked him.

"Oh. It's just because even back at Marley you never really interacted with any other warrior in training, it's weird that you with Leo-"But before Berthodlt could continue Reiner cut him off.

"that Devil!" Reiner said with extreme anger and hate.

"Devil, Reiner? And I thought you stopped considering them as such after being friendly with them for so long."Annie said too, Reiner.

"I'm only trying to gain their trust to solidify myself here. You can't say you're not doing the same."Reiner said

"I don't care. But, Leo is different."Annie said making Reiner raise an eyebrow.

"Different how?"Reiner asked.

"Different as in he is stronger than anybody I've seen before. He can easily kill me."She said confusing them.

"Leo can't kill you in your titan form, right?"Berthold asked nervously since Annie is the strongest of them in combat.

"I don't know, but maybe."She replied to them.

"Annie. While I admit he is gifted, I don't believe he can kill us as titans since even if he had prior training it probably wasn't as harsh as ours. The only reason why you would focus on Leo so much is-"But Reiner got cut off this time.

"Because she sees him as a possible threat and if she's close to Leo, he will lower their guard and she can eliminate Leo if he gets out of hand!"Berthold said.

"With his strength, he won't die by pure titans and he'll probably gain the attention of "important people" within the walls. So until something like that happens, I'll stick with Leo."Annie said.

"Okay, just like we planned we will attack after the graduation ceremony day, and when the time comes we will kill Leo in this attack, we will find the founding Titan and we will give it to Marley," Reiner said with no emotions.

They are going kill to people again

"We can't ask forgiveness from others."

Then she remembered Leo's words.

-Annie's POV-

I began to push up and exceed my limits like everything I always do while thinking...

'I have to do this! This is the sacrifices to fulfill my duty and come back home

There's no time to rest...

There's no need to take a break...

And then I saw it again...

The person In front of me was the person I watched die, the person I killed...

I met his eyes, and saw and felt the emotions conveyed in those vacant eyes of his.

Those words hit me, and I fall to my knees. Tears can't help but fall, as I saw thousands and thousands of people get killed because of me.

She has to do it. Sacrifice has to be made. Someone has to die.

Because... This world is cruel.

Finding herself leaning on the tree and crying...

Now she kills again them In the future.

She began to curl on her knees, her tears falling endlessly. Every day was torture. Every dream is a nightmare. She's done enough, so, please...

But Leo ignored that kid's words and said

Then Leo took Annie to the room.

" Why did you bring me here Leo" Annie asked them.

" Annie do you want to meet your father "

"wh-what do you"

" I will bring your father to this place"

" Leo, enough playing jokes with me"

Then Leo created a hot red chain out of nowhere and did something no one expected. Annie was shocked and could not believe what she saw.

" Annie is this your house, where you lived and trained with your father."

<Leo POV>

Leo created a portal to Annie's house. Then he went through the portal and dragged Leonhart from his bedroom and thrown in front of her.

" Nice to meet you, Leonhart. Sorry for disturbing you but your daughter is fighting between right and evil. Because she wants to keep her stupid promise with you," Leo said with no emotions.

"what the hell is this place, who " but before he could finish his words he saw Annie whose face is filled with shock and disbelief.

Both of them didn't talk for a few minutes.

" I... I am sorry Annie. Because of me, you are going to die because of the Ymir curse. You don't have to forgive me. I am a terrible father. I am sorry for using you. After sending you, I regretted it every day. I'm sorry." he started to cry and hugged her.

Annie still didn't believe what happened right now. But after seeing Leo she believe it and remembered his words.

" Father...., no one has the right to ask forgiveness. Thank you for saving and giving me this life. But I will accept you, Father. Now I kept my promise and I am free from that. I completed my goal But now I have a goal to undo my sins. And I will fight for it. But I will protect you."

" thank you" he started to cry again.

Then Leo went to meet Ms. Alice.

Then both of them talked about what happened there. And Leonhart understood he was inside the walls and he is not dreaming. And Annie told him everything that happened to her. He understood that everywhere good and bad guys exist. Then Leo came to them and said.

"If you are wondering how you came to this place, then I am the one who brought you here."

"Who are you?" Leonhart asked.

"Well, I am the avatar of an angel, who came to punish evil guys. And I am more powerful than Founding titan. You saw my powers" both of them are shocked but believed, they never thought someone can have the power to teleport anywhere.

" what are you going to do to Annie," he asked to protect his daughter.

" I know you want to do good deeds for what you did. I already know about Reiner and Berthodlt and what are they planning after the graduation ceremony day. But believe I will punish all the evil people. And one day I will go outside world and I will punish all of them including Marlens. So choose which path you want to go Annie."

Annie still can't believe it and still can't take all of it. But she chooses the path she won't regret" I don't want to kill innocent people."

Leo smiled and said "Ice queen I know you have so many questions but I answer them in another place. First, your father will be living here from now onwards."

After that Leo asked Ms.Alice for Leonhart to stay in the chapel. And he told Mr.Leonhart has amnesia. And she accepted him and he also accepted to help them.

If they tried anything funny he will kill him on the spot.

Then Leo took Annie to the forest and told her about his powers and showed her his ghost rider form. She at first didn't believe it but later she accepted. He also told that Christa and Ymir knew too about his secret.

"Why are you helping me?" Annie asked him.

"Ghost Rider Can Tell Between A Good Soul And A Guilty One. Why Else Do You Think Some Of The Survivors In My Attacks Are Alive?"

" You have a good soul"

"I Know What It's Like To Have...Something Inside You That Just Wants Vengeance, No Matter What The Cost.

I know what are you feeling but you are forced to do that. You didn't do that on your own and Now you want to be a good guy and want to do good things" Leo said to her.

"You're Both Bad and good Annie. You and I are just Made No More Than A Pawn! In someone's game."

Then he hugged her suddenly and told to her. " I know you are feeling sad and it's okay to cry. Now you don't have to fight for Marley or evil people. You are free from that. " then she cried and hugged him.

"Th-thank you," she said with a red face while freeing him from her hug.

<Annie POV>

" You look beautiful and cute in your true look Annie. Let's meet again"

He said that and began walking. I blushed and my face became red.

"Idiot, "I said in a low tone.

I looked down at my hands and thought...

'I know I have sinned greatly, now I can undo my sins but

... can't I be selfish for once

She looked at the sunset. And she smiled happily as her burden had gone away.
