Tiana Williams once again accompanied the Old Master to play a few games of chess, and dinner prepared in the kitchen was ready.
It was truly an extraordinarily lavish seafood feast.
The younger generation of the Williams Family mostly had their businesses, and they seldom came back on regular days. Even when they did return, it took some time to move around the vast Brooke Garden, so it was rare for the family to dine together.
The Old Master and the Old Mistress valued their personal space, staying strong and independent, preferring not to live with their children. Their bond was affectionate, with the children probably seen as just added bonuses.
Although the Brooke Family was complex, the Old Master managed his household well, and the siblings of the Brooke Family mostly got along harmoniously. Each had their businesses, some overseas in Singapore, Canada, or Europe.
Only a few younger members stayed close by.
