Chapter 140: Talk with the City Lord!
Upon entering the room, everyone was greeted with a warm and cozy environment. Servants standing in the room, greeted everyone with a bow. They had been waiting for their arrival.
Noah's eyes scanned through the room with a quick glance before it returned to normal. He could see a couple of maids and servants standing in the corner of the room waiting for the City Lord's orders.
The whole room was decorated with small antiques. Even though they were not that much expensive they were elegant and matched the vibe of the room.
The City lord was the first to sit on the sofa placed in the middle of the room. Following behind him, Noah and Xin Yan took seats across from him.
As soon as they took the seat two maids approached them with pots of tea and poured them a cup. Xin Yan nodded at the maid with a small smile causing her to blush.
