That night, Asher stayed at the ancestral home instead of returning to his residence. Audrey also had to come back all because Shelley wanted to have a meal together.
Both siblings said nothing, only abiding by their mother's wish. They also kept quiet about the argument between their parents.
In the dining room, only Shelley and her children were there, enjoying the delicious dishes prepared by the professional chefs.
Old Madam Shen had dinner in her bedroom, saying she wanted to retire early tonight. What had happened this late afternoon still upset her.
"Audrey, won't you be free soon? Accompany Mom to Dartrose," said Shelley to her daughter, eyes landing on Audrey who sat on her left side.
"When? I still have some recording to do," Audrey clipped some sweet and sour chicken to her bowl, "Mom, you want to escape the cold?"
"The capital is so freezing. I can't stand it, bad for my skin," Shelley made a face, unpleased with her situation.
