The morning sun rose over Mondstadt, casting a soft glow on the city that had survived another storm. Aether, however, found himself awake before dawn, standing on one of the city's towers and watching as the first rays of sunlight painted the sky.

The thought of Lumine, his lost sister, filled his mind once again. "I thought I'd find you up here," Jean said with a soft smile. "You've always had a way of seeking out the highest point."

Aether chuckled. "It helps clear my head. I've been thinking… about everything."

Jean's gaze softened as she looked out at the horizon. "About your sister?"

Aether nodded, his eyes fixed on the distant mountains. "Yeah. I came here to find her, but so much has happened since then. Sometimes it feels like I'm losing track of why I'm here."

Jean placed a gentle hand on his arm, her touch warm and reassuring. "You've done so much for Mondstadt. We wouldn't have made it through these past few battles without you. But I know your heart is still searching for your sister. And I believe you'll find her."

Aether met her gaze, feeling the sincerity in her words. Jean had always been a steady presence, someone he could rely on no matter how difficult things became. There was a strength in her that he admired, and in moments like this, he felt the depth of their connection.

"Thank you, Jean," Aether said softly. "You've been an incredible leader. Mondstadt is lucky to have you."

Jean's cheeks flushed slightly at his praise, and she looked away, a rare hint of vulnerability in her expression. "I'm just doing my duty. But… having you here has made things easier. I feel like I'm not carrying the weight of the city alone anymore."

Before the moment could linger further, the sound of footsteps reached them once again, and Amber appeared, her usual bright energy lighting up the morning.

"Hey, you two!" Amber called out, her grin as wide as ever. "Up here brooding again, Aether? I knew I'd find you thinking about something deep."

Aether laughed, shaking his head. "Just enjoying the view, Amber."

"Well, it's a good day for it," Amber replied, leaning against the railing. "It's nice to have some peace after everything that's happened. But knowing us, it probably won't last long."

Jean nodded, her expression growing serious once again. "You're right. The Abyss Order may have retreated for now, but they're not gone. We'll need to stay vigilant."

Amber's cheerfulness didn't waver. "Hey, we'll handle whatever comes our way, just like we always do! And besides, we've got Aether here. Nothing can stop us now!"

Aether smiled, grateful for Amber's unwavering optimism. She had always been a source of light, even in the darkest moments, and her energy was infectious.

Later that day, the group gathered once again in the Knights of Favonius headquarters, where Lisa and Rosaria had been monitoring the city's defenses and preparing for any potential threats. Though the Abyss Order's immediate plans had been thwarted, no one believed for a moment that the danger was over.

"I've been keeping an eye on the magical disturbances in the area," Lisa said, her usual teasing tone tempered by the seriousness of the situation. "Things have been quiet since the battle, but I doubt it will stay that way for long."

Rosaria, standing in her usual corner with her arms crossed, nodded. "They're waiting. Biding their time. We'll need to be ready when they strike again."

Jean, ever the leader, addressed the group with her calm authority. "We've bought ourselves some time, but the Abyss Order is still out there. We'll need to strengthen our defenses and keep patrolling the city. Aether, you've done more than enough already, but if you're willing, we could use your help once again."

Aether nodded without hesitation. "Of course. I'm with you all the way."

Amber gave him a thumbs-up, her usual enthusiasm shining through. "That's what I like to hear! With you around, Aether, we've got this in the bag."

Lisa smiled at the exchange, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, dear, it's nice to have such confidence. But let's not get too comfortable just yet."
