Genshin Impact: A Reader's Transmigration

Transmigration Do you believe in it? As an avid reader, I just thought of it as a plot device that if done well, would be an immediate gold for me. But maybe some force out there or from a higher being's whims, I was now in that position in a world called Teyvat. So... what do I do? ------------------------------------ A/N: Treat this story as an AU of Genshin. The plot line will be more of the same, but I'll be implementing my own ideas and headcanon for background stuff and some major parts here and there. Rather than action and such, this FF of mine will be more of a SoL one. With my MC sooner or later, adventuring the world of Teyvat. In search of what it has to offer. As this is a fanfic, none of the characters are owned by me but by their respective owner, HoyoVerse.

About The Tri-Commission & Narukami Shrine

Teyvat, Inazuma,

Narukami Island,

Inazuma City,

Yu's POV

"Disciple, come here. You must try this!" Master exclaimed as she finished the fried tofu she bought from the stall in front of us.

"Alright, alright." I then bought one and tried it, 'Damn, this is pretty good.'

Currently, both Master and I were sitting and enjoying good and delicacies from a food stall. The cause of this was master apparently getting a whiff of the tofu...

Also, this time, Master isn't wearing her disguise, which to some extent kind of surprises me. But if the Guuji was going to have an apprentice/disciple, then I can understand not having to hide it or anything. Anyway,

"Master, it seems like you're a regular though, huh?" I asked noticing that when we entered, she ordered immediately what she wanted.

"Indeed I am Disciple, I've frequented eating here for quite some time now." She said as she ate another fried tofu, clearly enjoying it.

'I guess being that carefree wouldn't be so bad, huh?'

Teyvat, Inazuma,

Narukami Island,

Narukami Shrine,

"We're here." She gently said, allowing me a bit of time to look at what I could, as I slowly walked forward.

If I had to be honest, the views this world had to offer so far have all been amazing. But seeing the shrine, the majestic Sakura tree in front of me that was shaped in a kitsune, in the background were the orange clouds signifying the sun setting.

As soon as I saw such a sight, I knew this would be the most beautiful sight I will have ever seen so far while being here... and I think it will take a while before I'll see anything as good as this.

.

Actually, before we arrived here, we were just enjoying what the city had to offer and mostly engaged in conversations of a few things. Like how Master had been acquainted with the owner of the stall since he was a child, and it was the current owner's father running the stall. Asking a few things about me and that she knew my father was an author. Also like how she would be able to be more entertained and amused when I accepted her offer... but that's a story for another time.

However, there was a topic I was quite interested in.

The topic was the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan.

But before that, we should talk what the Yashiro Commission is and a detailed background of what is part of, right?

So, let's first talk about the Tri-Commission. The Tri-Commission or The Sanbugyou, are the three organizations that oversee every matter in Inazuma, no matter how small it would be. Each organization assigned to a different role and lead by a clan.

The Tenryou Commission is the "Head of Public Security", dealing with the military and police affairs. The clan leading this named as the Kujou Clan.

Next, the Kanjou Commission. This commission is the "Financial Arm of Inazuma", managing all finance related matters. Whether it be from other nations, or internally. This commission is lead by the Hiiragi Clan.

Lastly, the Yashiro Commission. Called as the "Cultural Representative of Inazuma", they are responsible for ceremonial affairs, celebratory events, and public festivals. The leading clan being the topic I was interested in, the Kamisato Clan.

Apparently, 2 years ago, the clan had lost the head and his wife. This caused their children to rule over. At first, there were many problems, as well as subordinate clans or other ones trying to "attack" the Kamisato Clan at their weakest. Thankfully, they were able to hold on and managed to gain stability. Also, a few weeks to a month from now, there will supposedly be a festival, celebrating the start of a new year.

While I was given knowledge of what the Tri-Commission does and who led each one, I was not informed of the happenings that happened to any of them. In fact, the same goes for my knowledge of the other nations as well. I knew who ran them and such, but never the history of its past or present.

Interrupting me from my thoughts was a cough from behind me, 'Ah- right!'

I now faced Master, who was behind me, giving my apologies with a slight bow.

"While, indeed, this place is quite the sight, we should focus on getting you familiar with what you will call as home, no? Well then, follow me." Master beckoned, and I followed. As I did, I swear I could hear her mumble something along the lines of how she would prank me.

Resigning myself to my fate, I gently sighed while thinking, 'May I be given mercy.'

--------------------------

A/N: Just a short chapter. By the way, I've added the SoL [Slice of Life] tag to my novel. There won't be as much action as some people think there will be, sorry to disappoint anyone if you were expecting such things.

I'll be focusing more on interactions with other characters as of now. This however might change in the future. Once again, it's 3 in the morning. My brain is once again melting and need sleep, so I'll be doing so.

Have a great day/evening.

Anyway, that's all.

Phony out. Thanks for reading.
