"But even if he was just a discoverer, it would still have been a Nobel-Prize Level discovery, the absolute best in the world, and when it comes to our country...
Zhao Yi's accomplishments have already surpassed those of all domestic physics researchers.
It's really so jealousy-inducing!
They had been working hard for years, for lifetimes, with little to show for it. Yet, Zhao Yi only went to Switzerland for about a month and achieved more than they could ever dream of.
Where is the fairness in that?
Some were so bitter about it that they contemplated jumping off a building. Some couldn't stand it and anonymously vented online--
"I've been doing physics research all my life, and I'm nowhere near Zhao Yi's one-month achievement…"
"Now, in the world, Zhao Yi is called a physicist, whereas after working for decades, I can only be called a physicist in other countries…"
"So, why work hard? Reflecting on my twenty years of effort, I feel utterly worthless."
