Emily, Troye, Pharis, and Demian were inside Nana Seling's apartment. They went there to check on the kids while Dazaree was outside. The kids were already sleeping when they arrived so Troye fixed all the dirty dishes on the table and brought them to the kitchen and washed them.

Meanwhile, Troye followed him and sat on the kitchen stool. Troye noticed him and asked, "Is there anything you need?"

"Nothing, really," Demian replied as he stared at the dishes Troye was cleaning. "I just realized now the real reason why your presence seemed strange to me back then when I first saw you," he explained.

Troye smiled and said, "So you felt it too."

"Well, it was very unusual, so I'd definitely notice it," Demian replied.

"Yeah… I think so too," Troye told him while thinking deeply. "I haven't met a person who has thoughts I can't hear except for Nana. You are the second one," he added and glanced at him.
