Chapter 12- First Human Killing

Arc who had finally made it out of that situation of the attacker was now looking with horror-filled eyes at his own hands which were now with that spear monster soul in his hand.

"You hide a lot from others. This wasn't included in the information that I received when I accepted your assassination. You have now become just like us…"

These were the last words that attackers said before dying which were still ringing in his ears. It would not be easy for any normal person to just escape his conscious of killing someone.

Although he killed the monsters that was whole a lot different for Arc than killing some human.

But he knew that if he hadn't killed him then he would be one dying here.

"I had to do it, I did not want to do it," Arc screamed with a breaking voice while still looking at his hands.

His eyes were tears dripping down his face. It was his good luck that he got this monster's soul while returning here where he had to fight some monsters.

He was thinking back to that moment. He first met the mortal rank fire monster butterflies which had attacked him all together at once but when attacking him on the armour, these monsters self-destruct while exploding in fire blasts. Monsters were not strong enough to get through his armour but heat slowly stacked and made several burns on his body, especially on the left arm and leg which he was using to cover him from monsters.

In those attacks of monsters, he had acquired the five monsters, souls.

[ You have acquired monster soul- Boomerang Suriken - one-time use only- ( Category- weapon ) ]

[ No gene points can be acquired due to self-destruction and not any flesh of monster being available. ]

These five monster souls may seem like a lot but these were obtained during self-destructions of hundreds of monsters. And it was only one time to use Monster Soul. The worst thing of all is that he does not know how to use it which means that he will lose it if he does not have enough practice.

After this, he met the rhino monster of the Evolved level but the monster did not have much speed. But he had targeted him and Arc knew his attacks were enough to send him flying through long distances which would crush and impact him to death, and speed was still enough to follow Arc all the way wherever Arc went.

Arc wasted all his boomerang monster soul on the rhino and started three even missing the target and going in another direction exploding while the forth connected but didn't do anything else but make the rhino even madder. And finally, at last, that last boomerang monster soul luckily was hit in the opened mouth of the rhino and after exploding it took down rhino to a dead state and it slowly died.

Luckily, Arc also got the Monster soul of rhino which was similar looking to the pointy horn on it.

Coming out of his thoughts of the previous adventure, Arc was faced with an even more harsh reality than what his adventures were like.

"This incident that just happened would make a big changing point in my life. But, I hope this change is not the worst thing in my life…" Arc was shaken to the core while muttering these words.

Remembering this place is close to the human shelter where others might see this dead body. So, he stood up and while cleaning the blood from his hand it spread even more.

Thinking of a water source near the shelter he moved toward it and cleaned himself up completely as much as he could.

Then to not leave behind the full corpse, he moved the body to the area of sparrow monsters where these monsters would bite every last bit of this attacker's body.

It does not matter much if there are any blood stains left on the ground because there are some humans now and then dying to monsters and becoming their meal.

It was the first time Arc had the urge to just leave this world he got behind to return to his normal life, but his heart was in turmoil because his family situation was still in unstable condition. He can leave this world behind after stabilizing his family.

His first kill of a human involved a big trauma on him.

"May I go to the shelter now? Me being in this forest while I am not in the right mindset is dangerous." Arc following his own words, walked into the shelter inside through an open door which stayed open till daylight time ended.

He has lost his inner peace, his inner peace excitement as a curious person helped him to accept the existence of another planet more easily than someone targeting him and him killing someone.

What Arc didn't notice was that when he entered the shelter, some people were giving him weird glances.

In his room, Arc sat in a complete blank trance, while his mind was imagining and overthinking about his future life from now forward. But all thoughts ended at his family.

Leaving all other thoughts for now, He just wanted to check up on what he had gained in this adventure he went on. So, to do that he summoned his Status panel with a mental command.

And with one added devil soul Spear, there were those gene points from sparrow monsters.

He now remembered that he had forgotten to consume the flesh of that rhino but now thinking about that he still believed that he made a good decision because the larger the monster, the fewer chances of getting gene points and destroying the outer skin of that rhino was too tough and it will attract the attention of other monsters as time would have passed.
