Dear Travis

"Dear Travis, how are you? It's been a long time since we have last contacted each other. I know this is out of the blue and I'm sorry but I couldn't think of any other way. If you are reading this letter that means Carina and her pup have arrived to you safely. I am sorry that I have had to do this to you even though it's been more than five decades since we last spoke. And, I want you to know that I'm sorry for that long length of silence between us. I have had plenty of time to think and realized that I should have been the bigger person. I want you to know that I don't blame you anymore for Magdalena and I completely understand that I was in the wrong for everything that happened. I also apologize for my role in everything, I thought I was in love and I was jealous and stupid and I caused myself to lose not only you but everything I held dear. I want you to know that I love you and I am sorry again. I also need your help with a dire situation, and no I am not apologizing because I need your help. I am apologizing because I was wrong and I miss my big brother, you are my only family and I don't want to regain everything I so stupidly lost. But besides that, let's get to the reason for this letter other than for me to apologize to you. This is Carina, and I hope by now she's had her pup. They are both in grave danger and you are the only one that I could think of to help them. You are strong enough and wise enough to be able to keep them safe, I know this for a fact. If there was any other way or anyone else that I thought could help them I would have sent Carina to them but there wasn't anyone else. With their presence, I hope this can give all of you a second chance."

Gears wondered what he meant by that. Give all of who a second chance? But he just shook his head and pushed that thought to the back of his mind and kept reading.

"In the envelope with the letter is a bank card, I will transfer money each month from my account to this bank card. It is in your name so no one can trace Carina and the pup's movements back to you. I am so sorry my brother that I had to throw this at you, please accept my sincere apology. I hope that you will help Carina despite the issues that we have. I love you brother and I hope that all is well with you and that we can be together as real brothers again one day. Timothy."

Gears sat back and stared out into space, so the beauty with the quick mouth was named Carina, and he heard her call the pup Kaiser. That was a nice strong name for a male pup, It meant King in German, or so he had been told. He would have named his pup the same thing if he had been able to have pups.
