Wasted Holiday
Baek Hyeon washed his face and changed his clothes, he then left the room to continue his work. While his head was still in bandages, he looked at the sword he used yesterday and took it. Baek Hyeon walked towards the Crown Prince's room, he arrived in front of the Crown Prince's room but the Crown Prince was not in his room.
"Where is your highness now?" Baek Hyeon asked the lady at the Crown Prince's residence.
Suddenly the Crown Prince came from the opposite direction to Baek Hyeon. They all bowed.
"What are you doing here?" asked the Crown Prince to Baek hyeon.
"I just want to return this sword," replied Baek Hyeon then handed it to the eunuch.
"You better rest first, I'll give you a day off for today, go home," replied the Crown Prince.
"Really, Your Majesty? I can go home? but I don't want em .." said Baek Hyeon.
"Hurry up, see you tomorrow," said the Crown Prince and went into his room.
"Here," said the eunuch and handed him a package.
"What's this ?" Baek Hyeon asked the eunuch.
"There is a little snack from the Crown Prince," replied the eunuch.
"Is that true ?" Baek Hyeon was surprised then he smiled.
"Your Majesty.. Thank you.. Thank you.. hahaha Thank you.." said Baek Hyeon very happily as he bowed his body and walked away.
"See you.. cheers!" Baek Hyeon whispered to the eunuch and the ladies-in-waiting.
The eunuch who saw Baek Hyeon became annoyed because he did not encourage him but instead mocked him subtly.
Baek Hyeon walked out, people in the palace were surprised to see Baek Hyeon, his head was in bandages but he was actually very cheerful. Suddenly on the way Baek Hyeon met the king, Baek Hyeon was surprised and then paid his respects to the King.
"How are you ?" asked the king to Baek Hyeon.
"Ah this, I'm fine, Your Majesty," replied Baek Hyeon.
"Thank God, then where are you going with the parcel?" asked the King again.
"I was told by the Crown Prince to take a day off today, at first I was going to refuse but he didn't give me time to talk, oh he also gave me this gift, Your Majesty," Baek Hyeon explained and the King smiled back.
"Better use your free time well," said the King with a smile and then left Baek Hyeon.
"Yes, Your Majesty," replied Baek Hyeon and then paid his respects to the King.
Baek Hyeon continued on his way, he was very happy to be given a day off. Baek Hyeon entered his house, Baek Hyeon's mother was surprised to see her son came home with his head in a bandage then ran to her son and held Baek Hyeon's face.
"My goodness! what happened to your head? This isn't good, my son," said Baek Hyeon's mother in a panic.
"Mum I'm okay, em.. mom, can you make me spicy rib soup, I'm so hungry, I want to eat with you," Baek Hyeon said with a smile.
"Okay, let's go inside, aish.. your head must be very sore, do you want me to call a doctor?" Baek Hyeon's mother asked while leading Baek Hyeon into the house.
"No need mom, I'm fine, I just want the rib eye soup mom made and enjoy it together," replied Baek Hyeon.
Baek Hyeon was escorted by his mother to the room, then Baek Hyeon's mother immediately went to the kitchen and cooked rib soup for her favorite child.
Baek Hyeon took the mirror and looked at his head.
"This turned out to be quite severe, how could I hit the palace gate with my head and it leaked like this. Wow.. I can't imagine how hard it was to hit my head," Baek Hyeon muttered while looking in the mirror.
A few minutes later Baek Hyeon's mother came to Baek Hyeon's room with two bowls of Baek Hyeon's rib soup. Baek Hyeon's eyes widened at the sight of his mother's rib soup, then Baek Hyeon's mother put the rib soup on the table.
"Look in the mirror, how big your nostrils are," teased Baek Hyeon's mother.
"I'm inhaling steam from the rib soup, it feels like therapy," said Baek Hyeon smiling.
"Hurry up and eat, the worms in your stomach must be raging," said Baek Hyeon's mother.
Baek Hyeon ate his food, he was very happy because he could eat together with his mother. She will not waste this precious time, Baek Hyeon's mother held Baek Hyeon's cheek and stroked her beloved son's head.
"I'm very proud of you son," said Baek Hyeon's mother, then Baek Hyeon smiled.
"Oya mother, I have a snack from the crown prince," said Baek Hyeon then took the parcel.
"Crown Prince you say? Why did he give it to you?" Baek Hyeon's mother asked curiously.
"He's very good with me mom," replied Baek Hyeon then opened the parcel.
"Wow.. this is mom's favorite snack, isn't it? Looks like this is a snack for mom, not for me hahaha .." said Baek Hyeon then fed his mother.
"Oh, what is this? It looks like a letter," said Baek Hyeon's mother, finding a paper.
"Let me see mam," said Baek Hyeon then took the paper and opened it.
"FIND THE DRUG TO CURE Mr. MOJU AND Investigate WHO IS THE MAN BEHIND THIS."
"Aish .. it turns out he didn't give me a break," Baek Hyeon muttered.
"What is it ?" asked Baek Hyeon's mother.
"Looks like he's not as good as I said mam, let's finish this food first," said Baek Hyeon a bit gloomy and continued eating.
"Mom, after this I will go first, I have an urgent task to do," said Baek Hyeon.
"You still sick, can't you wait a bit?" asked Baek Hyeon's mother.
"No mom, I have to go first and my wound is getting better mom, so don't worry," Baek Hyeon said then hurried to leave.
"The snacks are for mom, I'll go first," said Baek Hyeon.
Baek Hyeon walked towards Mr. Moju's house first to check the situation, he entered the main door of Mr. Moju's house. Suddenly he was surprised to see someone sitting on the front porch of Mr. Moju's house, Baek Hyeon was silent at the door, then the person looked at Baek Hyeon.
"Baek Hyeon, why are you just standing in front of the door, come in," said the person.
"Yes," replied Baek Hyeon still surprised.
The person Baek Hyeon saw was Mr. Moju, he had woken up from his sleep, even now his condition is really healthy. It was as if nothing had happened, only his face was still pale. Baek Hyeon then approached Mr. Moju and paid his respects to Mr. Moju.
"I'm so happy to see that you're awake and healthy," said Baek Hyeon.
"It's all a miracle," said Master Moju.
