37. Uselss Chapter(7)

"Bread!" The bell rang and woke up everybody. Everyone started running to get to eat something for the day. But I already ate 5 days ago, I still have 2 days till I need to it.

"Mine!"

"No!"

"Give it!"

The others kept fighting for a single piece of bread. I felt nothing... well I do feel something. Whenever I wake up I just feel like my body is always so down. I don't know why-

"Die!"

A body flung at me and it was quite heavy. "Arrghhh" He looked at me and yelled. He raised his hand and slapped my face and punched it. I still have no energy so I had no choice but to keep in that rising pain in my chest. I need that for bread in 2 days.

He left me and stood up from my body and went to fight for the bread that has already been eaten.

From the start, I always wondered. "Am I special?" The others woth me in this place only knew a few words. But I could speak properly. I learned from the words I could hear from above.

Then I think about it. "Can they not speak words too?". Oh well, I have been thinking about this for days. I'm tired again, I will just sleep till the next 2 bells.

When the next bell rang I had to get ready. When I went to sleep again, I had to wake up as fast as possible. If not, I would die if I do not eat bread.

There is always just one every day. But I have survived here for years, I just have to do the same thing I always do.

*Rang

I sat everyday on the floor doing nothing. And it is all just for this day. As soon as I heard the bell I did my best to reach the bread.

Luckily I was first and there was not even a need to fight for it. I didn't stop for second to grab the bread with my hands. It doesn't matter what I do, that bread will go to my mouth.

When I ate all the bread I was punched and beaten to the ground. But there was no use to fight back, that is just some strength that I will lose. That is why everyone is so slow. They waste such energy.

Now I just sit and wait for the next 7 days. "..."

I was just sitting on the ground like always till one time an adult went down the hole and said. "We are recruiting, who wants to get out?"

The others didn't understand what the man said. They all just went and gathered below him yelling and saying bread multiple times.

"Anyone?" "Me." I just said it without thinking much about it. Getting out? Sounds good. I have never seen anything other than those rocks. I wonder what the outside is like?

The goblin grabbed me up and took me to the top.

I wonder if it had different colors like what I heard. I wonder how many bread they are. I wanna know what others look like. I am tired of seeing the same thing. Also what is this thing over this goblins body? Is this the "clothing"?

When I came out of my home I saw something that hurted my eyes. I couldn't even open it. I covered my eyes with my arm and never opened it again.

"Starting today you are an adventure." I don't know what an adventure is, but it sounds interesting. "He is 20, take care of him."

20? Am I called 20?

I couldn't ask any questions as my eyes were still blinded by the light. "Take it off." Oh, there was someone else that could talk here.

I cluldn't take it off though. My eyes will hurt. I expressed. But he just took it off and let me see that burning outside. "Mercy for you kid, that is the sun and it is bright." Kid? Sun? What sre those?

There was two goblins that came with me to the outside world. When I came out I saw many walls that was a different color.

And many were all closed but some could get in by bending the wall. "How strong sre they." I asked myself.

I walked more and more till I couldn't anymore. "Tired already? You were a passive huh." What did he say? Anyway I couldn't mo d anymore. That is a problem what should I do?

Thankfully the goblin held me and took me. I felt like I was flying, what is this. Feel- Ahhhh. My eyes hurts so much. I don't wanna open my eyes anymore again.

"Open your eyes." When I opened them and followed what the goblin said, I was in front of many others I have never seen before.

"New recruit." The goblin then left without saying a word to me. Now I was alone at this place. I don't know where I was. Am I in the deeper cave?

A goblin approuched me and gave me a... something.

"You will have to complete those tasks at the board." The goblin pointed and I started hearing laughter. I wonder what was funny.

But then I could hear some whispers. "Hahaha! New recruit looks wrak." I don't know why but that made me feel something on my chest again.

I just felt like hitting them, but I am way to tired. So then I slept.

When I woke up, I was in another place. My body felt good though. Rather it actually felt amazing. I didn't know the floor would feel something like this.

I then looked below and I was in a higher place with a gap to the floor. It felt so weird. What is this. Is this what the hole is like if looked from the top. What will happen if I go down? Will I die?

I didn't know what to do. Nor where I was at so I just stayed on this thing the whole day... or is it? There is no bell. How will I know when it is morning. "Hello!" I yelled. What is happenkng? Where am I?

I didn't know how long eas I there, but when I tried it, I didn't die. I then tried to find where to go. There was no where to go, everything had walls.

Then I remembered how the goblins were goind through walls using this shaped wall. But how? I just kick it? No, they used their hands.

There was this thing popping out of the wall do then I just grabbed it. When I pulled nothing happened. It was hard, I couldn't pull it. So then I pushed it.

When I pushed it I was now in a bigger place with more walls.

I walked and tried to follow the walls, till I found more of the fall places. But this time I knew I could do it. But just to make sure I don't die I will carefully step one by one.

"2 days! I win!"

"Fuck! He was smarter than I thought."

"Nah he was dumb, that's why it was 2 days.*

"He was scared hahahaha."

Many were laughing, and I didn't know what it was about so I just ignored it.

I went to the thing that was pointed to me the first time I came here.

"What are these?" I picked it up and pulled something out. It was a light thing and had many weitd designs in it.

"Kill 10 rabbits. Do you want to take that quest?"

"Yes..." I don't what she said, but I knew she asked a question. I'll just have to agree to her.

"Ok, wait, let me inject this on to you so you don't get lost."

The goblin placed something inside my body. It hurts, but it wasn't really that painful. But whatever that was, I can't stop it. It's a waste of energy.

Well that was good. I think. What actually just-

I was just thinking on my own, but without knowing it, I was already walking somewhere. I don't know where to. But I couldn't move by my own.

Oh well, I'll just walk and see. It was not like I could do anything about it. I can't control my body though, that is interesting.

After walking for a long time and seeing many goblins and walls that I could see something in. I arrived at a place filled with many tall and thing walls.

I could finally walk on my own so I went in through this place and then when I got into something I heard a sound.

*What was that?" Is there another person here?

Something popped out of a small wall that is passable. It was a dmall thing but it wa moving. Are these rabbits? I heard many terms before but I don't know what they look like.

But based on this picture on this light thing. I seem to need to kill 10 of those. But how do I kill? Do I just punch it hard? That's what everyone did back at home.

Yeah maybe that is it. I ran towards it and raised my arm to punch it hard.

But then it just disappeared. I couldn't reach it. Well my arm is not that long. And the rabbit heard me. It ran, I guess it isn't like me.

*Crack

What? I stepped on something and it made a sound. I then grabbed it... and... what is this feeling. I feel like... something within me is moving me.

This thing, holding it feels amazing...
