The unicorn

Emma quickly opened her attribute panel. On the crude interface, there was an additional item listed under "Devil Fruit." And behind the "Bailey" option, she saw two buttons: "Recharge" and "Withdrawal."

"Well, what do you think? Are you going to sell it?" Sarah Evans asked after explaining everything, giving Emma time to process.

After a long pause, Emma blinked and asked, "Isn't John worried about the risks with this system?"

Sarah shrugged. "We asked him, but John said it was all part of a treasure hunt."

"A treasure hunt?" Emma tilted her head.

"Yeah. He said the game felt like it was missing something, so he added the two-way exchange feature. As for Devil Fruits, there are supposedly over a thousand of them. But finding one is up to the players' luck."

Sarah's explanation left Emma, and even the audience watching her live stream, with wide eyes. It dawned on them that the mysterious prize worth ten million had to be this Devil Fruit.

"Wait a second! How much money does John actually have?"

"Even if a single Devil Fruit costs a million, a thousand of them would be a billion!"

"Stop talking! I'm out. I'll come back a millionaire!"

"John's still the same generous John, putting everything into the game without a word. I'm crying happy tears!"

"Alright, let's respect John with a recharge. Don't let him lose money!"

The chat in Emma's live stream was going wild, but after struggling internally for a while, she finally declared, "I'm not selling it. I'm eating it!"

Her decision to keep the Devil Fruit surprised Sarah Evans. Five million was a staggering amount of money for Emma. Even though she had made a good amount of money from Nexusplay's games like Minecraft and John's million-dollar gift last time, she wasn't exactly overflowing with cash. Was she really just worried about John's financial losses?

Bella Smith grinned slyly. She leaned in close to Emma and teased, "Come on, Emma, let us see what this Devil Fruit can do!"

"Well, I just... eat it like this?"

"Yup, take a big bite, but you have to eat the whole thing," Bella replied, unable to hide her amusement.

"Eat the whole thing? It's so big..." Emma muttered, eyeing the fruit.

Without further hesitation, she bit down on the large, spiraled fruit.

"Ugh, this is disgusting!"

"Don't spit it out! You have to swallow!" Bella said, laughing as she quickly covered Emma's mouth.

"Why does it taste so bad?" Emma's muffled voice came through as she continued to chew.

"John said it was too easy for players to get abilities, so he made sure Devil Fruits taste awful."

John: "Wait, what?? I never said that!"

With tears welling up in her eyes, Emma thought about the five million Bailey she had chosen to keep as she forced down the Devil Fruit. After what felt like forever, she finally finished the last bite.

"Alright, what's your new power? Is it a Logia type?" Bella asked with excitement.

"Logia?" Emma was still confused. She felt a strange power building inside her, but she didn't know how to tap into it. Bella then began explaining the different types of Devil Fruits that John had described.

Suddenly, Emma's body began to transform.

Her once blonde hair turned a brilliant shade of pure white, and a shimmering silver horn emerged from her forehead, radiating an ethereal light.

"This is... a Zoan type?" Bella's eyes widened as she backed away.

Emma's transformation wasn't complete. Her body expanded, arms planted firmly on the ground, and a pair of majestic, pure white wings sprouted from her back. The transformation left everyone in stunned silence. Even the chat in her live stream went quiet for a brief moment before erupting with excitement.

"My God! What kind of animal is that?"

"It looks like a horse, but why does it have wings? And that horn?"

"I don't know what it is, but it's beautiful!"

"Is this a mythical Zoan?"

Bella stood there in shock, her mind racing back to the Moon Rabbit Fruit they hadn't touched yet.

"Ah! What happened to me?" Emma suddenly realized the change, panic rising as she flapped her wings and took off.

"Emma, don't panic! Try to focus on controlling your new powers!" Sarah shouted up at her.

Whoosh!

Before Emma could react, a sharp sound cut through the air.

A feathered arrow flew out of the jungle, aimed directly at Emma as she soared.

"No way! The Amazon Lily warriors think she's a wild beast!" Sarah yelled in alarm.

The girls, all lacking combat abilities themselves, could only watch in horror as the arrow struck Emma mid-flight. Some of them covered their eyes in fear.

Thunk!

The sound of the arrow piercing flesh echoed. Emma's body plummeted to the ground, and Sarah and Bella rushed over.

"Emma! Are you okay?"

"Where did the arrow hit you?"

"Shouldn't she be fine? John said Zoan types have enhanced physical resilience."

The girls panicked as they examined Emma's unicorn form, finding the feathered arrow lodged in her abdomen.

"I'm... I'm fine. Luckily the pain simulation isn't set to 100%, but it still hurts," Emma groaned as she slowly got to her feet.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

In the distance, the Amazon Lily warriors responsible for the arrow came running over. Seeing Emma's condition, they started preparing another shot. Bella quickly intervened.

"Wait! This is Emma! She just ate a Devil Fruit and transformed!"

"Emma?" The warrior stopped, lowering her bow upon realizing the situation.

Thankfully, Bella had reacted in time. Just moments ago, the warrior had aimed for Emma's head. If that shot had connected, Emma might not have survived the blow.

"I'll get a doctor!" one of the warriors shouted, ready to rush back.

"No need, really! It seems my body is healing on its own," Emma said.

Indeed, the arrow had knocked some sense into her. Now calmer, she managed to regain control of her new abilities, reverting to a half-human, half-beast form. The silver horn on her head remained but had shrunk to about ten centimeters. Her wings also reduced in size, and her appearance returned mostly to normal—except for her now-white hair.

As the girls examined her wound, they noticed something astonishing. Emma had pulled out the arrow, and the spot where it had pierced her was shimmering, slowly healing itself.
