Ch 8 : Battle with the mercenary group

"Hey Kiddo, you okay?"

Seth was a bit surprised by the voice that came out of nowhere. He looks in the direction of the voice and found out that it was the old man and the mercenary group this morning.

"Well, er..."

Seth was still pretty confused about the situation. He was still wondering about the intention of the other party, but a big rumbling noise stopped his thought.

Seth trembled from the violent tremor that shook his entire body. A big earthquake in the middle of the forest is the last thing he wants right now.

Seth swallowed his saliva and forcefully tried to wake up. He pulled out the dagger he had and put up his battle pose.

The old man glanced at Seth and smiled approvingly.

"You use a throwing dagger as a weapon right Kiddo. Support us from the rear, we handle the vanguard."

The old man glances at Seth one more time and then rushes towards the big snake.

The old man hits the side of the Big Snake with his Claymore, but the scale of the snake was too tough.

The sound generated was not like a slashing sword, but instead was like hitting with a blunt weapon.

The old man snickered at the snake.

"You think you are tough huh, take this!"

The old man's posture grows serious, and a strong aura emitted from him. Along with it, the claymore in his hand was filled with a strong flame and looks destructive.

The old man waves his claymore and releases intense flames to knock the big snake back while burning it.

This time the big snake injury was fatal. There were many burnt marks on his body, and countless scale was missing from its body.

Seth looks at the big snake and found this was a good chance. From the beginning, Seth was examining the big snake and looks out for its weak point.

The weak point of the big snake was at the upper of his jaw, which would directly below its brain. Normally, this weak spot would be hard to target. But, the big snake right now was roaring out of pain, making its weak spot vulnerable.

Seth puts the dagger at the invisible hands and uses the invisible hands to strike the weak point.

The dagger hit right at the weak point of the snake, striking the brain in the process.

The Big Snake which was roaring in pain instantly succumbed to its death.
