In an inconspicuous but exquisitely designed creative bookstore in the Imperial Capital, Han Jiaxue was behind the beverage counter, mixing a cup of milk tea. This was one of the Han Family's businesses in the Imperial Capital, originating from a prosperous county-level city in Jiangnan. Although the Han Family's business spanned several provinces and cities, they also had operations in the Imperial Capital. Two years ago, they opened this creative bookstore, modeled somewhat after Siwei Island's Sincerity Bookstore, with books at its core, combined with leisure dining and the sale of niche audio-visual products.
This bookstore's founding was inseparably linked to Han Jiaxue; it was her idea and her first entrepreneurial project soon after finishing high school. Even though she was in the United States, she often explored the North American book market, importing some of the better books, comics, and records back to China.
