Aria sat next to John at the tavern, sipping on her ale as she watched him mumble to himself in his sleep. She leaned in closer to try and make out what he was saying, and her heart sank as she heard him talk about getting bullied and pissed on by his tormentors.

She couldn't believe that he was still haunted by those memories, even in his dreams.

"Poor John," Aria muttered to herself. "Those bullies really did a number on him. I wish there was something I could do to help him forget about those awful memories."

As she said this, John began to thrash about in his sleep, mumbling incoherently. She wrapped her arm around him, trying to comfort him as he continued to speak about his tormentors.

"No, no, please stop!" John cried out in his sleep. "Don't do it! Don't do it!"

"John, wake up!" Aria said, shaking him gently. "You're having a nightmare. You're safe now, I promise."

John's eyes shot open and he looked around frantically, his heart pounding in his chest. It took him a few moments to realize that he was in a tavern with Aria, and not back in that dark alley with his bullies.

"Aria, thank god it was just a dream," he said, pulling her into a tight embrace. "Those memories still haunt me, even all these years later."

"I know, John," Aria said, rubbing his back soothingly. "But you're safe now. You're strong and capable, and you've come so far since those days. You don't have to let those bullies control you anymore."

John took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to calm his racing heart. He knew that Aria was right, and that he needed to let go of those old memories if he wanted to move on with his life. With her help, he was determined to do just that.

In his dream, John had been walking home from school when he was ambushed by his bullies in a dark alley. They surrounded him, taunting and jeering, and before he knew it they had pinned him down and were pissing on him. John had begged and pleaded with them to stop, but they just laughed and continued to torment him.

Suddenly, John's siblings Adam and Eve appeared at the mouth of the alley, watching in horror as their brother was humiliated by his bullies. Instead of coming to his aid, however, they joined in, joining the bullies in pissing on John.

John was devastated, feeling betrayed and alone as he was humiliated by the people he loved most.

"Please, don't do this to me!" John had cried out in his dream, tears streaming down his face. "I'll do anything, just please stop!"

But his bullies, Adam, Eve, and the others only laughed and continued to piss on him, until John was drenched from head to toe. It was a nightmare that still haunted him, even all these years later.

John and Aria walked down the stairs into the main tavern, their footsteps echoing on the ancient stone steps. The tavern was full to the brim with fierce looking fighters, all glaring at them as they entered. John and Aria were outsiders in Shask, a small city known for its brutal warriors and brutal ways.

The tavern was dark and dingy, with smoke and the smell of sweat and ale filling the air. The floors were made of rough-hewn wood, and the tables and chairs were all battered and scarred from years of use. The walls were adorned with weapons and armor, and a fire roared in the hearth, casting flickering light across the room.

John and Aria took a seat at a small table in the corner, trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves. They could feel the eyes of the warriors on them, judging and sizing them up. They knew they were not welcome here, but they had no other choice but to stay in this rough city.

As they sat there, a barmaid came over and slammed a mug of ale down on the table, not even bothering to ask what they wanted. John and Aria exchanged a glance, both knowing that they were in for a long and uncomfortable night.

The barmaid walked away without a word, leaving John and Aria to sip on their ale in silence. They could hear the raucous laughter and shouting of the warriors around them, and the clanging of swords as they practiced their combat skills. The air was thick with tension, and John and Aria both knew that they needed to be on their guard.

As the night wore on, more and more warriors began to arrive at the tavern, all of them looking for a fight. John and Aria could see the glint of steel in their eyes, and they knew that they were not safe here. They finished their ale and made their way to the door, eager to get back to their room and lock the door behind them.

.

John and Aria were sleeping soundly in the tavern door, their bodies curled up against the cold night air. They were awoken by a loud banging on the door, and they groggily got to their feet, rubbing the sleep from their eyes. When they opened the door, they were greeted by three fierce warriors, two males and one female.

The first warrior, a burly man with a thick beard and scars crisscrossing his face, grunted his name. "Moises," he said, his voice low and menacing.

The second warrior, a tall and muscular man, sneered at John and Aria. "I'm Jesubamiro," he said, his voice laced with contempt. "And this is Mel," he gestured to the small but fierce-looking female warrior standing next to him.

The first warrior, Moises, was a burly man with a thick beard and a large beer belly. Scars crisscrossed his face, testament to the many battles he had fought in the past.

Jesubamiro, the second warrior, was tall and muscular, with chiseled features and a sneering expression. He was dressed in full armor, ready for battle.

Mel, the female warrior, was small but fierce, with sharp eyes and a confident stance. She was armed with a bow and a quiver full of arrows, ready to take down her enemies from a distance.

John and Aria exchanged a glance, and then John stepped forward, agreeing to fight if Aria stayed back and watched. He was curious to see if he could manifest his mana sword and improve his combat skills.

"I will fight you in three days," John said, his voice filled with determination. "We are traveling to the capital city of Basit, and if I win, you will serve as my indentured servants on our journey. But if you win, you can use us as slaves."

This challenge was brought about by John from his insecurities of his past life, desperate to prove himself in this new world, where he sees himself as the main character.

The warriors sneered at John's challenge, clearly not intimidated. "If we win, we will take both of you as slaves and use you as we please," Moises said, his voice filled with contempt.

"In three days then."
