A Plan

At this moment, Dominic had no knowledge of the ongoing operation to locate the base housing the nuclear warheads, which were extremely important for his organization and all those who wished to survive a few more days.

Now, he was conducting an important meeting to inform everyone at the base about the enemy, their purpose, and what would happen if they didn't stop them in the coming days.

As he entered the room where everyone was gathered for the meeting, silence fell, and they waited for him to begin the explanation.

Quickly, he took out a yellow-looking key and placed it on the table. Everyone watched this action without asking questions, waiting for Dominic to start speaking.

Dominic then took out paper and a pencil from his backpack and noted down all the information he had learned today in case he couldn't remember it during the explanation. He knew who Teddy was and understood perfectly how this mad old man could change the course of the new days with weapons of mass destruction, so he needed to find and kill him as soon as possible.

After finishing writing, he sighed deeply and said, "Things have escalated one after another without stopping. Everyone in this room must know that walkers are not our main enemy, but rather people."

Lightly tapping the table, the key that had been silent there vibrated a bit, and then Dominic pointed to it: "The Doomsday Cult is led by Teddy, and this is a hostile group of survivors that existed long before the apocalypse. From what I know, it was formed with the sole purpose of bringing about the final judgment, which they believe involves ending everything with nuclear warheads."

"Many of you are already aware of this, so I won't go into detail. The doomsday cult found a way to use these nuclear warheads somewhere in Texas, and there are nuclear warheads stored there. The cult's purpose is to use these stored warheads to end the rest of humanity on the earth's surface, supposedly giving humanity a new beginning."

"That's crazy!" Addison murmured in shock.

"It seems that the dumbest and most screwed-up idiots have survived this rotten world." Daryl shook his head, knowing that was more or less the result of the interrogation.

"Is that possible? I mean, nuclear warheads shouldn't be within the reach of civilians who today can play with that kind of bomb."

"In fact, it's possible since these bases can be found by anyone. We have secured most of these bases in other states, but we ignored Texas." Stuart shook his head.

Negan, who was also in the room, said, "Another reason to kill them!"

"We need to be smart."

Dominic closed his eyes and thought. There were children there, and people were forced to be with the cult, so they needed to wait until they had a battle plan. This meant leveraging those small factors to obtain the other submarine key and thus gain full control of that power, which would be very useful to his community.

After thinking about this for a long time, he opened his eyes and said, "We must make the mission as clean as possible to recover those nuclear warheads and their launch briefcase."

Morgan looked at Dominic with confusion and asked, "Can this... work?"

"I don't know either."

Dominic spread his hands, said he didn't know, and explained, "But I do know that I definitely don't want to eliminate families and children who are against their will in the cult, so we must contact the external bases around the cult and share our plan with them."

"I'm sure they don't want to be oppressed by the cult, and their loyalty has been fluctuating after eliminating three of their external communities, but if we attack the cult and kill everyone inside, what do you think the remaining outside communities will do?"

"Even then, the risks are significant."

After hearing these plans, Negan finally began to doubt, but quickly shook his head, expressing that the risk factor was too high and that avoiding so many unnecessary deaths was definitely the best.

"We have a force that can eliminate the cult in minutes. If I don't attack with everything, it's because we are not like them; we consider life important in our community. Therefore, they will be given a warning before attacking."

"Well, I think so too."

Unexpectedly, Dominic agreed with Negan's idea. He suddenly took out the dagger he had in his hand, stabbed it forcefully into the circle where The Galleria supermarket was located, and said, "Then, since Teddy is reasonable, we'll talk to him before attacking, and long before that, we'll contact the bases surrounding the cult."
