What if Tohru had two more cousins and Kyo had a younger brother who was the dog of the the zodiac? Their lives are turning around when two of them decided to leave their family and lived a life of a lone wolf. And also, I would like to tell the story of Fruits Basket from the perspective of a fan-fic character, but also adding some parts for the lives of the fan-fic characters. Masayuki Honda is a 17-year-old Filipino biracial living in Japan and the maternal cousin of Tohru Honda who was supportive of her. Handa Sohma is the younger brother of Kyo Sohma and the dog of the zodiac who was his supporter. They both have something in common: They are sympathetic of their sufferings. Chapter 63 – Hiro is impressed

One day, Hiro's views on Masayuki changed when he saw him being grabbed by Tohru's male cousin. The reason why is the same: Masayuki was considered to be a nuisance to the Honda family. But then, Masayuki looked at Hiro, who was watching the whole thing. He then looked back at his eldest half-brother. "If you're going to do this in front of this kid, then do it. I dared you." Tohru's male cousin looked at Hiro and, not wanting his pride to be ruined, just let go of Masayuki.

"You're useless, anyway," he said to Masayuki coldly and with hostility, before walking away.

Watching him walking away, Masayuki thought, "He has no common sense whatsoever."

He then looked at Hiro, who was rather impressed by it.

"Wow, you're so cool," Hiro said to him.

"What? You are?" Masayuki raised an eyebrow for a few seconds.

"Yes, and I think you're cool and outspoken."

 "You think so?"

Hiro then nodded.

 "Okay, thanks, I guessed."

Hiro then smiled. "No problem, you're my friend after all."

Later that day, in the afternoon, Masayuki was working in the convenience store when Hiro came to buy something. He saw him working as a cashier. "Oh, hey there, Masayuki-kun."

"Hi there, Hiro-kun," Masayuki happily replied back. "Welcome, are you here to buy something?"

 "Yes, sort of."

Hiro then grabbed two chocolate bars and went to him to pay for it.

Masayuki then checked their prices, calculated the total price, and said to Hiro, "That'll be 600 yen, please."

Hiro then pulled some coins from his pocket and gave it to him.

Masayuki finishes the transaction without any change since Hiro's payment is very exact, so he just puts the two chocolate bars in a plastic bag and gives it to Hiro. "Here you go, come again."

"Thank you." Hiro receives it. "By the way…"

 "Yeah?" Masayuki replied back.

"I heard from Tohru and Yuki that you're smart, right?"

"Yes, that's true. I am smart."

"Can you help me with my math homework after your shift? I'll be staying at Shigure's place."

"Oh, sure, why not. I'll be there at 5 p.m."

 "Okay."

Hiro then left the store, hoping that Masayuki would come.
