Funny how it turned out

Funny how we are acting like strangers

Funny how once we were attached to the hip,

Now it's just the memories

Painful memories that I never imagined would become memories till today.

You say that's how life is,

But funny how I don't find it funny

Yet still I'm saying it's funny to ease the pain.

Funny how we once dreamt of our future

Only for it to be discarded in the deserted lane of memories.

Funny how we will never be the same 

Funny how I will miss you but you just brush it off with 'you'll get over it.'

Funny how it ended so soon but not so soon at the same time....
