Elian glanced at Orion as they strolled through the palace corridors. His steps had slowed, and his fatigue was becoming harder to hide. "Would you like to see my chambers?" he asked casually, his voice soft but tinged with weariness.
Orion's eyes lit up immediately, like a child offered his favorite treat.
"Really? You'd show me your favorite place? The excitement in his voice was almost childlike, his entire face glowing with enthusiasm.
Elian nodded, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Yes. Besides, I could use a break from all this walking."
Orion's joy was almost tangible. He clasped his hands together, his excitement bubbling over. "I'd love to see it! Thank you, Elian." He practically bounced on his feet, causing Elian to chuckle softly at his brother's boundless energy.
