Jevan Hollen was the most popular boy at school. Blossom Wright was the new girl from Ghana, Africa and a transfer student to Jevan's school. When the two paired up for a class project, they became closer and fell for each other but Jevan's bitter ex-girlfriend used her evil deeds and caused Blossom and her mother to get deported. Seven years later, Blossom is back in the US and she has a son. When Jevan found out Blossom was back and that he was the father of her child, he wanted a connection with Blossom and perhaps a chance of being a real family. One problem. He's engaged and his fiance wasn't about to let Blossom have her way with Jevan so easily. Blossom later moved on with another guy by the name of Hunter Sax who was abusive towards her. All hell broke loose when Jevan found out about the abuse and took Blossom to live with him.

Chapter 20 Happy Birthday Jevan

Jevan's POV

After my usual football practice and I hit the shower and got back into my casual clothes, Connor met me in the hallway.

"Hey man, it's your birthday on Friday. You throwing a party?"

"Nah. Not this year." I answered and straightened my sleeves.

"So what are you doing then?"

"I'll just be chilling."

"Cool. We can get together at my place. My parents aren't..."

"Actually, I just wanted to chill with my girlfriend." I cut.

"Your girl?" He asked with a hint of annoyance.

I nodded.

"Alright then. I guess that's cool too." He turned on his heel and I watched him walk away.

Blossom's POV

I couldn't believe it has been four months since I've moved to the US and I couldn't believe it was my boyfriend's birthday on Friday.

It was April and we were now on Easter break. I met up with my friends to ask them what I should get Jevan.

What do you give to the guy who already has everything?

I couldn't find the answer.
