Fast Friends

Finally reaching Amanda's Dormitory building. Twany looked around as everyone started taking pictures. Cindy was speaking with the RA about policies and rules. The RA was drooling as he couldn't stop looking at Cindy. "Of course my new family was drop dead gorgeous. Is this a werewolf thing?" Amanda thought to herself.

Amanda stood nervously next to Cindy as she was never one for attention. She slowly lifts her eyes and notices another girl looking right at her. She brushed it off thinking maybe they were looking at Twany, but when she looks around Twany was no where to be found. She motions Amanda to come over to their circle and Amanda just looks away. The RA turns to grab a freshmen handbook and this now angry blonde walks over to Amanda and says "when I call you, you come, pup!"

Amanda was shocked. Amanda was ready to run, until Cindy steps in and says "Listen here you mutt, talk to my kid like that again, and not only will I slash your throat, but I'll send your head back to your pack with a note of disobedience to a Royal."

The blonde quickly bowed her head and with a slight whimper expressed how sorry she was. Cindy took Amanda outside and found Twany on the phone. Immediately Twany saw the shock in Amandas face and asked what happened. Cindy explained "Some dumb b*tch tried to command our Amanda." Twany looks at Amanda and says "No one can make you do anything. And no one can make u feel bad, only you can make you feel anything. Don't let insecure people have power over you." Amanda nodds in agreement and quickly asks "What's a Royal?" Cindy says, "oh don't worry about that now. you're going to be late for orientation." Amanda gives her outfit a quick look and Twany approves. She quickly takes out her little map and waves to her aunties.

Twany and Cindy make their way up to the dormroom and start putting away all Amandas new things. They searched for the nearest mall as room essentials were needed.

Amanda shows up next to a bunch of other kids her age introducing themselves. "New Me" Amanda tells herself and walks up to the group and says hi. They all turn to look at her and one of the guys say " Were you the girl with Twany Anderson earlier?" Amanda nods and says "Oh yah, that's my aunt. I'm Amanda." Instantly two people run over to Amanda one girl and one boy on each arm and yell "Amanda's my new best friend." The group starts laughing hysterically. "I'm Trevor and this is Samantha." The boy says. Samantha corrected him "Sam. You can call me Sam."

Trevor was a super good-looking man with rainbow vibes. He had on an outfit you would only see in magazines. He lived for the latest fashion and was on his way to becoming one of the hottest influencers. Sam his twin sister was just as trendy, but unlike Trevor she was into sports. They separate from the big group and Trevor leaned in and told Amanda "you smell nice" and winked at her. Amanda looked at him and said "thanks its just soap" and Trevor smiled and said "You SMELL nice" and accentuated the wink wink with his eyes. Still not understanding Amanda looked at him and Sam leaned in and howled in a whisper "Aaawoooo" OMG Amanda looked horrified. "you know? " she asked. They both looked at her and said how old are you? She said 17 but 18 in October.They both nodded their heads. "She's a baby" they said in unison. "Don't worry girl, we got you. We are too." Said Sam with a great big smile on her face. Carrying on the conversation as if it was a normal topic. Trevor says there's about 25 freshmen here that are also wolves from all over the country. most are already 18 or 19. He continued to talk about the two houses most of them join. the Alphas and the Deltas. It's a sure in when they smell you Sam said, and continued with "The Deltas are the number one in sports amongst the other sororities as are the Alphas for the frats." "Isn't that like cheating" Asked Amanda? "Well, no because there's also vampires and witches." says Trevor

"Are you kidding" asks Amanda

Trevor and Sam look at each other as if something was really wrong. "How much do you know about our world?" asked Sam.

"I just found out a few days ago" said Amanda looking down at her feet. Not wanting to tell them about her past. "Maybe you should meet my aunts after this?" Amanda says. Trevor's eyes fill with joy as Sam laughs at him.

The three quickly run back to the big group and are divided into 10 small groups of 10. unfortunately her two new friends were not in Amanda's group. They stood in a circle while playing some icebreaker game they were all paired up, except Amanda. They only had 9 in their group. Amanda says "that's ok I'll just watch" and then a man shouts over to the Orientation leader we have a late entry. "Perfect, you can pair up with Amanda. What's your name?" the Orientation leader asked. "It's Ian. Sorry I'm late. I got a little lost." That's ok says the O leader. Amanda looked up to see the most beautiful man she's ever laid eyes on. His blonde hair, brown eyes, perfect nose, built body, had Amanda staring at him as if he was some type of God. He looked right back at her and instantly said in a hush voice "mate". Amanda shook her head and said "oh right we're teammates, I'm Amanda. oh you already know that. ok so we just have to find people in our group who have done these 50 things and sign their name. Have you done any of them? " Ian looked at her like she was crazy. He couldnt understand why she didn't respond to him. Ian stood there in disbelief as Amanda babbled on. Finally it was quiet and Ian says "What are you talking about?" and Amanda stops, apologizes as he sounded like she did something to offend him. She couldn't understand why he was upset. She thought about what her Aunties told her and said to him "fine you take the bottom half, I'll take the top." grabbed a pen and ripped the assignment in half, tossed it to him and walked off. She was not about to do this whole thing by herself. She was going to show the world the new Amanda. The icebreaker was over and they took a long tour around campus. Amanda stayed clear of Ian the rest of the morning.

Next up was lunch. Amanda looked for Sam and Trevor who were waving her down. She ran over to them and they all talked about the different and interesting people in their group as well as what part of the campus they saw. Trevor says he's already seen the clubs and orgs and was excited that the Alpha's were super chill and didn't discriminate against gays. It was a big fear as Trevor knew some Alpha's in the south and midwest weren't as open to the idea. Sam says she gets to meet them after lunch and Amanda lets her know she's in that group too. Lunch ends and they all go back to their small groups. Amanda walks slowly back to her group as she gets pushed from behind and her water bottle goes flying. The blonde who Amanda found out was called Rachel, from earlier says "Oh sorry pup, didn't see you." She laughs as she runs back to her group. Ian picks up the water bottle and instead of giving it back to Amanda, just looked at her and tossed it in the recycling bin. Amanda thought WTF and yelled out "Hey that was mine" and Ian replied "It was almost empty. I'll get you another one." Amanda just shook her head and said "whatever." and walked away. Ian again couldn't believe this shit. He saw the push and looked at her to make sure she was ok, and picked up the bottle but it was almost empty and tossed it for her. And she has the audacity to say whatever to him. Ian was pissed. They make it over to the clubs and orgs tables. Amanda was greeted by the science club. She was so excited as knowing all this new information about herself, she wondered what other science stuff there was on her kind. When she starts to ask about what type of experiments they do, she was disappointed to find out they were into Space and don't really touch on herbal medicines or organic matter. She moved on down the row of tables from choirs, different dance clubs, to art and academic clubs. She was at the Kappa Nu table and the girls were simply amazing. They all showed how much they wanted to be Amanda's sister. Amanda turned when she heard Sam's voice calling her over to the Delta table. She walks over and the girls look at Amanda with disappointment. An alumni of the Deltas was there and reachs out a hand to shake and asks Amanda for her name. Amanda replies with "Amanda Hernandez" Instantly her eyes light up. The other girls looked at their Alumni like she was crazy. She takes Amanda to the side and says, "We are so happy to have you here. I promised I wouldn't tell the other girls, but I received an e-mail from your Uncle Mark a few days ago. We hope to see you at our events."

Amanda looks at her and smiles. She couldn't help but feel loved. He knew she wanted to be just like Maria and hoped she could be a Delta too. Sam and Amanda take off to see more clubs. Amanda hears a crash over by the Science table and quickly turns around bumping into Ian. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to" Ian's heart beats so fast. All he wants to do was keep her safe. As soon as the crash happened he went to her with super speed. Didn't care who saw. He actually bumped into her. After he sees it was just a clumsy kid who ran into the table, Ian replies "It's fine" and moved her out of his path as if she was in the way. Sam gave him a small head nod as he walked by. While Amanda scowled at him. Sam looked at Amanda and said "OMG you have so much to learn. That's the Alpha of the Bloodmoon Pack's son." Amanda giggled at the name and asked if all packs have funny names? Sam grabbed her by the arm and shuffled her to another booth.

Orientation was finally over and Amanda was exhausted. She texted her aunts omw and texted her new besties she would meet up with them for dinner with her aunts.
