Chapter 3

It was another day getting bad mouthed at school, Chanel wasn't there cause she took a rain check cause she was sick.

After the dream I had 3 days ago, I was stuck sneaking cat foods into the dorm cause I don't have the heart to abandon the little cat. I named the cat Dark cause the name really suited him.

I thought alot about the dream but sometimes I kept thinking, what if the whole thing was just a hallucination. What if my mind was playing crazy things on me and I couldn't help but wonder was I going crazy?

There was this other side of my mind that was encouraging me to write a letter and see what happens. Cause I wouldn't loose anything now, will I?

I sat to my study table and placed a paper, I was about to write some greeting letter but then a word stuck at my mind.

'Make A Wish'

I thought about it very deeply but my heart couldn't point out the things I wanted to wish for. Do I want money? Do I want fame? Do I wish to get good grades? Or do I wish being the center of attention?

I didn't mind anything at all, my wrist started moving on it's own like it has a life of it's own.

The next thing I knew was I was crawling in my bed and couldn't wait to fall asleep.

......

I remember opening a door and when I got out, the same place I saw 3 nights ago came into my view. I saw the same familiar man standing outside his cabin, his hair was lightly being swept by the wind and my sensitive mind couldn't help admire his attractiveness.

I walked in his direction and he saw me. He greeted me with a sweet smile and he slowly approached me.

"Hey, Astra." He greeted.

I gave him a smile in which he then returned back.

"Hey, Azrael." I tried to be polite.

"So, I see you made your first wish." He mumbled.

"Yes. Will it come true?"

"It will."

"You're not lying, are you?" I asked cautiously.

"Why would I? Anyways, Since you're here why don't you take a look at my stables." Azrael then dragged me inside his cabin.

Then when we we're there, he dragged me outside the cabin. That was really strange but then the scenery outside changed.

There was a barn outside and it looks like we we're in a barnyard. Azrael guided me inside ome of the stable and there I saw one of the most beautiful horses in my entire life.

"She's beautiful." I told the man while He was busy taming the white horse.

"Of course she is." He then opened stall and he begin to plaster a saddle into the horse.

Then he motioned me to come closer. The next thing I knew was I was being carried and I was sitting in the saddle.

"Giddy Up, Scythe." Azrael patted the horse's back.

"You named your horse, Scythe?" I asked confused.

"Why not, It's a pretty name." Then he began leading The horse in the field while I was here holding to dear life and really afraid to fall off.

Then the Scythe began walking on a faster pace. "Azrael make her calm down." I demanded but Azrael just laughed hysterically.

"Make her slow down!" I shrieked. But stupid of I to think that Azrael would follow my orders because he really didn't.

Then I slipped. Nearly reaching the ground I didn't know if I was expecting to hold myself to avoid any accident or being held lightly before I could literally fall.

I looked at him, This is not fun! I could have died there.

"This is a dream, you cannot possibly die here." Azrael says as looked at me with his piercing eyes which looks like it would open another window in my soul.

I turned away and tried to walk down my feet.

"Thanks for catching."

He didn't say anything but, he just looked at me straight in the eyes.

"You, you should probably head back." He says as he pointed towards the door in the middle of all grassy field in the Barnyard.

I didn't say anything but decided to follow his orders cause, I couldn't say anything in this moment.

I remember heading towards the door and being emitted by total darkness when I walked in.

....

I woke up with the sound of birds chirping, it isn't usually like this. When I opened my eyes I saw a familiar wooden ceiling, I sat down and scanned the room.

I tried to process at where I was at cause the feeling of familiarity never leaves me. The furniture is familiar, The arrangement of the things, The color of the whole place. The structure of the place.

Then it hit me, I ran outside the balcony and finally realizing that I am at my late Grandma's Cabin that was auctioned off.

"T-this is amazing!" I cried, unable to believe what I just saw.

I looked outside and saw grandma's old neighborhood, I remember there was a girl about my age living across the street.

And soon after a few minutes, there was a teenage girl coming out from their house across the street, stretching and probably will wait for the her school service.

Well this isn't a dream then. I thought while the I let the breeze flow my tangled hair.

Right. I should get ready for school.

I turned away from the balcony and joyfully skipped around getting my bath towels ready.

.....

Dear: Azrael

I wish to get inherit my late grandma's old cabin that was auctioned off because I was too young to own it.

-Astra.
