Yang Fan felt that there was something fishy about the situation, but as he was working for someone else's company and had become quite familiar with Chen Kai, to the extent of becoming friends to some degree, that didn't mean he had reason to refuse when the chairman called him to the office.

So, even though he was full of doubts, he still nodded in agreement and then headed in the direction of Chen Kai's office.

After entering, Chen Kai asked Yang Fan to sit on the sofa opposite him and exchanged a few simple pleasantries.

Yang Fan was ready to respond, but his puzzlement only deepened because after talking for a while, he still didn't know why Chen Kai had summoned him. He had no choice but to ask directly.

"If there's something you want to say, just say it. I'm quite busy outside."
