Forever Your Boyfriend

**Credit to the real owner of the cover photo** Lee Nana finds herself caught up in the middle of a drama she knows nothing about, when she accepts the request of her best friend to stand in for her as an hired girlfriend. She meets and falls in love with Kim Tan who happens to be her boyfriend's best friend unknowing to her, and drama ensues as different love triangles are formed. Lee Nana comes to find out that she isn't really who she thinks she is, and everyone around her is keeping one secret or the other from her. She gets to understand how one decision can change a person's life as well as those around her for the better... Or maybe for worse. ******** Tan locked eyes with her over his wineglass, she was pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers, and he could get any of them between his sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn? She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heartbeat quicken. 'You have a boyfriend, what are you doing letting yourself get attracted to this guy?' she asked herself. He could tell she was nervous, it made him smile. It reassured him to know he still had that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him. He reached across the table and placed his hand over her hand making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down girl, I don't bite. you just look so nervous, I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes. "I'd appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown. "I'm sorry, I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," he said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again. "We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up everytime I touch you. that would raise suspicion don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes "Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about, I'll do it right. But until then keep your hands to yourself." She said with a polite smile. We'll see about that. Tan thought. "That Means I Like Tan"

Mi Cha rushed to the door when she heard the car's sound. She couldn't wait to be alone with Tan to tell him everything that had been going on in his absence

She opened the door, and her jaw dropped in surprise when she saw a drunken Tan and Ji-Tae assisted by a man she didn't quite know.

"Thanks for bringing them home. You can go. I'll take care of them," She said to the driver after he introduced himself.

He just looked at her, wondering who she was and why she was in the house since she had failed to introduce herself after he had introduced himself. "You're sure?" He asked her doubtfully.

"Sure, just leave them to me," She said with a sweet smile and escorted him back to the door. She closed the door behind him.

She considered Tan and Ji-tae wondering what to do to them. Couldn't they have had fun without getting drunk?

She decided she would leave them on the floor where they lay. She wanted them to be ashamed of themselves in the morning when they woke up.

**********

Jin-A fixed her eyes on the picture, so Ji-Tae's girlfriend was friends with Tan's girlfriend. She smirked at the image.

The other lady in the picture looked familiar, but she couldn't recall exactly where she had seen her; she looked really polished.

She guessed they were both planning a wedding or something. Look how close they seemed in the picture. If they both thought she would let them enjoy their relationships, then they were all underestimating her.

She was distracted by the persistent ring of her phone. She checked the caller's identity. It was Ji-Tae's driver. Why was he calling so late at night? She wondered as she received the call.

"Isn't it too late in the night to be calling me? Or is there a problem that can't wait till morning?" She asked impatiently.

"Um, I'm sorry, ma. I'll call back in the morning," He said hesitantly. He didn't like her tone one bit and was trying to be patient.

"Don't be silly, you called already. Say whatever you have to say and be fast about it," She said with her gaze on the picture.

"I wanted to let you know that Tan is around, and he's at my boss' house," He said.

"And who gave you the right to call his name so casually?" She asked in a harsh tone.

"I'm sorry, ma," He said hurriedly.

"When did he arrive?" She asked, ignoring his apology.

"I don't know, but I just carried him and my boss home from the Bar. They were both drunk..." He said hesitantly, not knowing whether to tell her about the other lady he had seen in the house.

"I suppose you want to say something else. Go on," She prodded.

"Erm, there was another lady in the house. She opened the door and asked me to leave, said she could take care of them," he scratched his head as he wondered if it was necessary.

"What did she look like?" Jin-A asked curiously as her eyes settled on the picture of Mi Cha.

"She looked very slender and beautiful with a short mop of blonde hair, I think," He said, shifting from foot to foot as though Jin-A could see him.

"That's interesting. Thanks for the information. Let me know if anything else comes up," Jin-A said and dropped the call.

So the guys were hanging out at the same time with their girlfriends, huh? Was it a sort of couple thing? Tsk tsk tsk, unfortunately, she was going to ruin it all for them... Especially the twit who had disrespected her.

And who was this lady in the picture? She looked closer at the picture. It couldn't possibly be Tan's adopted sister, right? Tan wasn't close enough to her to travel with her, or was he? She had to find out.

A visit to Ji-Tae's place in the morning was in order. Of course, she owed it to them. What else would cure their hangover better and faster than her presence? She asked herself with a broad smile... She would check out the other lady while at it.

**********

The man in the shadow had watched as the private investigator parked his car a little distance away from the elegant building he went into and handed an envelope he suspected to be the pictures he had snapped to someone at the door.

Whose house was it? He was sure it wasn't a tiny person. Whoever lived there was wealthy. He would dig into the person before giving his boss any information.

**********

"For someone who can't hold her liquor, I'm surprised you keep taking alcohol," Mr. Lee complained as he dragged Nana inside the house. He struggled to gain balance as he tried moving her.

"Why did you drink so much when you knew you'd have to be at work tomorrow?" He asked, even though he wasn't expecting an answer.

"Dad?" She called as he dropped her on the bed and turned to leave.

"Don't say any nonsense, and just go to bed," He said, dumping her handbag beside her.

"How do you know you like someone?" She asked him stubbornly without heeding his advice.

She wasn't going to remember anything anyway, and he was sure she would drift off to sleep before he was done answering her question.

"When you think about them all the time, everything reminds you of them. When you would rather spend a single day with them than a life without them," He said, drifting off as other thoughts passed through his mind.

"That means I like Tan," She said as she drifted off to sleep.

Tan? Who is Tan? Mr. Lee asked himself with a frown. He was almost tempted to wake her up. He would talk to her when she was sober. For now, he needed to rest.

**********

Min-Jung knew she would have to confront Tan sooner or later, and she had to come up with something.

She would call him in the morning and tell him she had tried reaching the lady but had found out she had traveled abroad.

If push came to shove, she could pay someone else to pretend to be Nana on the phone and tell him off. She was going to do all within her power to keep them from each other.

If everything went as planned and she ended up marrying Ji-Tae, there would be no way Nana would meet Tan cause her relationship with Nana would be ruined, as well as Nana's relationship with Ji-Tae. They were the only link through which Tan and Nana could meet each other.

She smiled at her brilliant plan. Now she could finally breathe. She didn't have to hide from him like a thief anymore; all was fine with her world again.
