Tan watched Nana, hoping she would finally open up so he could tell her what she needed to know. He held his breath as he waited for her response.
"Not exactly. The only issue between us was..." Nana paused and looked at Tan. This wasn't the best time to keep secrets, Min-Jung was missing, and if there was any way she could get Tan to help her, then she had to be honest.
"We promised each other that we weren't going to tell this to anyone, but I really need your help right now, so I have to tell you the truth. My best friend's name is Bae Min-Jung," Nana said and paused when something occurred to her.
"Wait for a second. You must have known that already, don't you?" Nana asked, scowling at him.
"Know what? Her name?" Tan asked, not liking the sudden change in the direction of the conversation.
