A PUBLIC PROMOTION

After she was done changing into the new dress,Mo Moyan looked at herself in the mirror and smiled.

She could only thank her stars for saving her from the shame and embarrasment.

Even though she knew Mo Youyou would try to disgrace her,she never for once thought that she'll go to such lengths.

How long would she continue to hurt her?

As she stood staring into the mirror,she heard the sound of the door knob being turned and hastily wiped the tears that had gathered in her eyes.Suddenly,the scent of a familiar perfume drifted into her nostrils and seconds later,the man walked into the room.

"What the hell are you doing in the ladies washroom?"She screamed as she turned to face the man."You don't just barge into a ladies washroom like that.What if I was naked?"

"What wrong would I have committed by seeing my wife naked?"The man asked as he drew closer to her and Mo Moyan flinched.

She was supposed to be angry so she doesn't understand why her emotions were being aroused just by the thought of this man.

No!She can't allow him to bring her gaurds down.

"Wife?Did you just call me your wife?After lying to me and flirting with other women you still have the guts to call me that?"

"Don't tell me you're starting to get jealous."He taunted and smirked as he drew more closer to her.

"Why should I be jealous? I'm not even recognized by your parents as your wife.There's nothing more to this relationship than what it was;a contract marriage.Yes!The only thing that binds us together is that stupid contract,no feelings at all."

"Are you sure the only thing binding us together is the contract and that you have no feelings for me?None at all?"Lu Jin asked lowering himself unto her and staring at her seductively making her shiver in fright.

"What....what are you doing?"Mo Moyan asked stammeringly as the man's weight closed in on her and she felt his breath on her face.

"Trying to prove you wrong."He stated and held her neck with his hands and pulled her towards him.His lips found hers in an instant silencing all her protests.

At first,the kiss was gentle and passionate but it suddenly became rough,wild and fiery sending Mo Moyan's feelings into a turmoil.

Though she tried to resist at the beginning,she later lost her will to her desires and allowed her emotions to control her.She moved her hand through his silky hair as her tongue explored his mouth,wanting more.

But as she felt his hand moved into her dress touching her breast,all the emotions controlling her vanished and all the pain,hatred and anger she was feeling came rushing back,making her remember how he lied to her.

She pushed him away from her and slapped him hard on the cheek,"Don't you dare take advantage of my feelings again."She warned and pushed past him and walked out of the room.

Lu Jin held his cheek and smirked as she stormed out of the room.

He was right!They both have feelings for each other.

Back at the party,after the events that had unfolded earlier, people were discussing and talking about the embarrasment Mo Youyou had caused herself.

Even though she had apologized immediately, everyone kept staring at her weirdly and some even said some harsh words to her.She had thought that Lu Jin might come to her rescue but he never even said a word in her favour.All those whiles,she noticed that his attention was only on Mo Moyan and as she realized his absence now,she knew she only had herself to blame.

She shouldn't have behaved stupidly.

As she sat thinking about her ill fate,she noticed that everyone's attention was on someone and as she turned,she saw Mo Moyan dressed in the golden laced gown looking so elegant and goddesslike.She watched in fury as everyone kept fawning on her and wished she could just die and disappear from her life forever.

"I'm sorry Mo Moyan,I know what I did back then wasn't the best thing to do.I hope you can forgive me."Mo Youyou rushed towards Mo Moyan and pleaded guiltily.

She wanted to play the victim in order to gain everyone's sympathy.

"I don't have anything against you so you don't need to worry yourself by apologizing to me.There was just a slight misunderstanding and nothing more."After saying this,Mo Moyan walked past Mo Youyou without giving another glance.

She knew just what she was trying to do and she'll never give her the chance to succeed.

"You look breathtaking,Mo Mo."Rao Ning complimented when she got to where she was standing.

"Don't make me blush Rao,anyways thanks for the compliment.I appreciate it."Mo Moyan acknowledged flashing her a bright smile."Is everything okay?Why is CEO Chen not at the party?"

"She had to take care of some things, she'll be here very soon."Rao Ning explained assuringly and Mo Moyan heaved a sigh of relief.

At that moment,the beautiful figure of Chen Jiahe appeared at the doorway causing a stir in the room.

Even though she was old,Chen Jiahe kept her figure in good shape by taking in dietary food and exercising her body regularly and so as everyone stared at her,they were all enchanted by her beauty and perfect figure.

Seeing her for the second time,Mo Moyan was in awe of her beauty and held her in high esteem in her heart.

Chen Jiahe was dressed in a knee-length purple dress and had on a matching pair of earrings,a necklace and a bracelet.The dress hugged her waist revealing her voluptuous curves and as she moved,it kept swaying left and right.

"We meet again, Miss Mo."She greeted when she got to where Rao Ning and Mo Moyan stood.

"CEO Chen,I'm glad to see you.I thought you wouldn't make it."

"Sorry I came late,I had to take care of some things."Chen Jiahe explained smiling brightly at her."I hope you're enjoying yourself here."

"Well! I'm getting used to it."

"Anyways,I have an announcement to make,I'll talk to you later."

When she was done talking, Chen Jiahe walked away from Mo Moyan and stood in front of everyone.

"Evening ladies and gentlemen,I'm grateful towards you all for honoring my invitation and I thank you all for coming.I hope you can forgive me for being late."As she spoke,she looked calm and reserved and kept a smile on her face."Today,I want to welcome our new artists into the industry officially.But moreover,I'm promoting one of them tonight."As she said this, everyone begun murmuring amongst themselves."I know you all have questions but you'll get your answers later.For now,I have decided to give Miss Mo Moyan the position of the new artist's ambassador."At this revelation, everyone stared at each other in shock.Even Mo Moyan herself was shocked and was trying hard to process the information.

She stood from her chair as Chen Jiahe motioned to her to come to the front and walked towards her looking all confused.

"Congratulations Miss Mo,you've now been promoted."

"Thank you CEO Chen."

"You're welcome!"Chen Jiahe replied and smiled as everyone begun applauding.

Mo Moyan also stood in shock at the appaud she was receiving and at the corner of her eye,she saw Mo Youyou stand up from her chair and stormed out angrily.

Seems she had provoked Mo Youyou more.....
