End Game

Cora slid her new engagement ring onto her hand shortly before the plane touched down in Madrid. Jared smiled at her as they gathered their bags and got off the flight. Together they walked through the airport until they got to a terminal marked VIP.

They checked Jared's identification and glanced at Cora. Jared picked up the hand with the engagement ring and kissed it. The man nodded and waved them through. A porter took their bags from them, and they walked through a terminal arm, outside down some steps, and were led to a private jet.

Once on board the jet a stewardess poured them some wine and they got buckled into their seats. Twenty minutes later they were roaring down the runway and they lifted off, much to both Cora and Jared's relief.

Cora turned to Jared taking a sip of her wine. "So, there is no record of either of us leaving Madrid?"
