Arghi Baswara placed his phone on the mattress and stuck his index finger in front of his lips. Listening to the faint sound coming from the lower floor of his house, even with heavy rain dominated his sense of hearing. However, Arghi knew something was wrong downstairs, an unnatural noise making him wake up from sitting downstairs.
"What's wrong, Arghi?" asked his best friend, who was two years younger than Arghi, looking at him curiously.
"There were people downstairs, even though my uncle was in the hospital and couldn't possibly go home," Arghi said half-whispering even though he knew his voice wouldn't be heard downstairs. He spoke again, "Galant wait here, I want to see him first. Don't go anywhere."
Galant shook his head and stood by Arghi's side. Arghi opened the door slowly walking slightly up the stairs to peek. Arghi's heart immediately raced when he found a foreign man dressed all in black searching the contents of his house, swearing here and there. Make the middle room chaotic. His anger immediately arose when the man had already barged into Galant's father's locked room. He's a robber. Arghi quickly walked hurriedly back into the room, pushing his friend slowly to enter.
"Galant quickly went into the room again, don't go anywhere," urged Arghi.
Galant shook his head quickly while gritting his teeth with his eyes on. "No Ghi, we're still here. Let them want to cheat, the important thing is that nothing happens to us."
Galant shook his head quickly while gritting his teeth with his eyes on. "No Ghi, we're still here. Let them want to cheat, the important thing is that nothing happens to us."
Arghi exhaled and looked at Galant with dark eyes. He wouldn't remain silent when a stranger broke into Galant's house, he was already twenty years old, and with all the kindness of the Galant family until he could stay here where perhaps Arghi could just be silent.
"Galant came into my room," Arghi's order firmly ignored Galant's earlier words.
Galant's eyes instantly widened with disbelief, his jaw dropped then he snorted. Galant didn't say anything and went straight to the room closing the door. Arghi knows Galant must be disappointed in his not listening to what he's trying to suggest, but this may be just a little way for Arghi to do as his gratitude with Arghi having to get the stranger out of here.
Arghi clenched the prayer in his heart with clenched lips. He took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly to steady his heart. Arghi hopes nothing will happen, regardless of his feelings that feel bad from time to time since he came to see him.
Arghi half-ducked walking slowly back to the side of the stairs, his eyes did not escape observing the stranger who dismantled the contents of the closet like it was indeed his. He looked relaxed, making Arghi's hand closely squeeze the handle of the stairs.
Arghi gasped right then and there as his eyes caught up with the robber who suddenly turned to his. Arghi became stiff, but his courage didn't subside easily. He boldly appeared at the top of the stairs with shiny eyes. The man observed him, Arghi trying to fight the feeling of danger in his mind.
"Look at anyone it turns out, hide again so I can finish this quickly," he said with a groan at the end of the sentence as he stood facing Arghi, his heavy voice filling the room. Arghi's veins appeared to stiffen in his neck.
"Put everything as it was," Arghi orders which sound like a warning hiss as his jaw hardens.
The robber walked casually towards the stairs and looked up at Arghi happily, "Waw, go into the room, wash your feet and go to sleep. Don't interfere."
Hearing that Arghi darted down quickly smashing his fist on the face of the man standing on the lower stairs, instantly his fist felt numb. He deserves that. The man didn't dodge his punch at all, only a slight shock was painted on his face then returned to normal with a wide grin on his face.
The man wiped the corner of his bleeding lips and looked at Arghi while raising his eyebrows, then he growled with a deep tone. "Dare you."
"Get out of my house." Arghi's eyes flashed with anger he barely realized the robber was already standing before him when Arghi had retreated away after hitting him.
"You better be quiet, or you'll know what I'm going to do to the person in your room," he said casually but tucked into a menace with shiny eyes on Arghi.
Arghi's heart pounded him here to protect Galant and wouldn't remain silent accepting what the man was doing. His hands were firmly pinned, This might not be his home, but Galant was now his responsibility.
"How dare you." Arghi again hit his fist firmly on the jaw of the man in front of him making him a little staggered.
Instead, he laughed, Arghi didn't understand at all what this man standing before him meant. However, he only realized one thing might happen later and make his blood rustle, so Arghi quickly spoke, "Bring the goods and get out of here quickly."
"Why rush," suddenly Arghi's stomach was hit with a powerful kick making him sit holding his stomach with an uncontrollable cough. Arghi grimaces withholding pain. He inhaled the deep air, then narrowed at the man standing towering in front of him who was emblazoned that he was content to do so to Arghi.
"I told you, right? You should have returned to the room and curled up under a blanket," he sneered.
Arghi hissed, in his sitting position on the stairs. He kicked the man back. With the pain, Arghi ran to the kitchen. He wasn't sure anyone would help him tonight where his yard was too spacious and involved his neighbors. Arghi also didn't want if he asked for rocks to go outside, the man could have hurt Galant, just thinking about it Arghi couldn't afford it.
Not having time for Arghi to reach the kitchen, he was kicked back until he came down kissing the floor. Not knowing what happened next, all Arghi remembered was the pain that kept hitting him all over the body.
Arghi was helpless, he opened his eyes slightly to find Galant peering behind the wall with fear in his eyes. Arghi became restless with the anxiety that enveloped him making him feel claustrophobic. He shakes his head so that Galant can stay away, and Arghi can get here to protect his best friend. Arghi should have followed Galant's previous words by staying in the room, how foolish Arghi was to look for his problems, if something were to Galant then Arghi wouldn't be able to forgive himself.
Arghi tried to rise with his remaining strength, even before his body could move the man back to kick him.
"Still aware of you?" asked the robber with a thick mockery. He pressed his leg on Arghii's back firmly. His head looked around weakly. He hoped that in case someone could help him, get himself out of this situation.
Arghi will never answer, he makes a signal through his eyes so that Galant quickly runs into hiding or asks for help anywhere.
Arghi's head felt exploded when something hit him hard, right in his can nest. Instantly it was getting puffy and darkened and everything went dark. Arghi didn't know if he was still in consciousness or if this was just a hallucination in his unconsciousness. His body felt crushed and crushed, hovering between his consciousness and unconsciousness, he couldn't see anything. That made it difficult to breathe now, Arghi scavenging the air voraciously.
Maybe he's dead. Maybe.
Before he really couldn't think of anything else, Arghi slipped in one prayer to keep Galant fine. Regardless of whether Arghi will be this or not.
